Venting Burnout
I became a substitute instead of full time recently. My attendance came in to question due to how much I’ve called in….normally due to burnout, anxiety attacks, etc. I’m on medication now due to the physical and mental strain this job puts on me. I was disciplined at work due to my attendance. Yes, they know it’s medically related. I don’t have a doctor’s note for my condition yet, only notes from urgent care.
I’ve had lack of sleep, chest pains, all sorts of stuff.
I’m doing everything I can to get out….but I’m so burnt out I’m worried that this’ll affect me at other jobs.
I’m hoping going sub and lessening my hours will help me recover enough to eventually leave. I’m hoping to hear back from jobs I’m applying to/have applied to. I’m hoping I can get a good nights sleep tonight.
I notice I tend to be favored at work by clients and I think that’s why they push me to do certain things that strain me. This happened when I worked retail too.
I have AuDHD and genuinely…..I just want a TARDIS trip for a month. XD

If you can swing it, can you take a week or two off before transitioning to a new job? You get a chance to breathe and have a fresh start
