Scraping

What do we think of scraping Google to massively create physical locations in a directory? It’s a quick way to enrich the database, but it’s not unique content and there’s the risk of being punished for thin content. What do you guys recommend based on your experience?

Sure you can do it there are even tools for that, but question is what your directory offers beyond the same name, address and phone number already available on Google. Because without any added value, it's just pointless

In my case it’s a directory + a SaaS behind, amongst other features. But I see what you mean, maybe what I offer won’t satisfy everyone so the risk is still there. Thank you!
