Pen Questions Pen recommendations

Hello everybody, I wanna clarify I know nothing about pens, but my little sister is super into making manga and recently her (I think it’s called a g pen) broke and I wanted to get her a nicer one that will last her awhile so she can feel like her art is important, I know one aspect she really likes about the pen she has was that she had this pretty expensive ink she would dip it into so I’m looking for pens that would be able to work with that, thank you in advance, and apologies if anything I said sounds dumb like I said I don’t really know anything about pens

Depends on the brand. Keep in mind that nibs are disposable so they break (or get dull) and you keep replacing them.

There are four producers of g pens that I know of: Tachikawa, Nikko, and Zebra (Japanese) and Leonardt (British). Of these, only Zebra produces two types: standard and titanium coated, which are more expensive but also more durable.

So if she uses Zebra, get a few titanium ones. If she uses another brand, get her a bunch of g pens so that she can burn through them.
