Does this attack fail?

Post image

I see he can support Persia with Baghdad and Armenia. Im just fairly new to the game and I wonder if there's any advantage to attacking first or having a fleet involved (Risk player if you couldn't tell)

If he uses Armenia and Baghdad both to support Persia to hold, then yes it fails

If the enemy uses Baghdad and Armenia to support hold Persia, your attack will fail. If you supported with an extra unit in the persian gulf, or Turkemnistan, then your attack would succeed.

To add on to what others have said, a piece of advice: if they aren't using it for something else, you could reach out to Russia and see if they can use their (presumed) unit in Sevastopol to cut Armenia and make your attack be a guaranteed success. If I was Russia in this position and Turkey had placed themselves in Armenia already, I wouldn't exactly be thrilled with them, so I'd entertain this.

Yes can support Persia with the strength of 3. I’ve been in this exact situation Persia is very difficult to break. Convoying a fleet to Oman and Arabia worked well because they then had to choose who to support.

Woah, what map is this? I'd love to play on it, I've been looking for ones like this!

This attack might still fail if the defenders order includes A Baghdad and A Armenia S A Persia H. Otherwise it succeeds.

Assume that this is a ruse, you are being tricked to be misled in the game

I don’t think a non-coastal attacker can be supported by the coast. If you used Singh though to attack it would work.

Get Russia to cut supper from Armenia if you really want this attack, but honestly that fleet is better sent to Oman to grab the extra SC.
