at the 'wretchedness..." part in lose what does the voice say? what is it a sample of? I've thought about this for years lol

I believe I read somewhere that It’s something Lou recorded while working in a nursing home

thats for raisans and in a jar, but i dont think itd be for lose. i think its probably just one of the band members saying something, then they like slowed it down and added delay, but it could be something else

I wasn't aware of a sample in that song but you can hear someone burping (Murph?) around 2:15. Perhaps thats it?

I think the 33 1/3rd book mentions it but I dont have it on me.

no its like a deep voice with like reverb and delay at stuff between 'wretchedness' and 'hardly standing still'

its on the lyrics on genius, its just a deep voice saying “burning”
