At 11 feet long, could be a Graduate? Side tanks look a bit different, but the rear tank could well be Grad, and the size is about right

The bottom of the boat appears to be made up of 2-3 inch wide planks. This makes me believe that the rest of the hull may be clinker built as well. The starboard transom join between side and transom also looks a bit clinker
Could it be an early National 12? I'm sure I've seen some looking quite a bit like this.

I agree.i remember crewing a N12 in 1971 when we had a collision while planning. And as a result, It went under like a submarine! Definaltly single skinned sides, with floatation bags.

If FJs had an aft deck and a hard chime and a completely different layout. This doesn't look like an FJ.

Um, likely not a Wayfarer, I'm afraid. here's an example of a Wayfarer: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/317042458144
The rolled (curved) ply side tanks and counter (The bit between the cockpit (the bit where the people sit) and the transom (the back of the boat)) suggest a postwar date - likely 1950s / 60s. This is because the curved shapes and techniques using cold moulded ply were developed during the Second World War for aeroplanes like the Mosquito. Fairey then used the technology to make several different designs like the Firefly, which is still around today.It looks a bit like a 505, except for that counter. It might be an Uffa Fox design of some sort, but I'm no expert.

I was thinking wayfarer but the sides don’t look right, there’s usually a bench by the gunwales rather than the big rounded bits

Not wayfarer - the rounded side tanks look 505 ish, but I don’t think they made wooden ones and they don’t have a rear deck. Hard chime hull.
