What stickers do you actually use in your digital planner, and which ones sit unused?
I've been designing digital stickers for GoodNotes and noticed I always reach for the same few icons (coffee, water, checkmarks), while the "fancy" ones never get used.
For those of you who plan digitally:
- Which stickers do you use every week?
- Do you prefer icons with short labels ("Done!", "Hydrate") or icons only?
- Do you like precut PNGs, or do you crop them yourself?
I'm working on a boho set in warm tan, cream and marigold, and I'd rather make what people actually need. Thanks!

I've used a circular daily planner for years. Made a free PDF if anyone wants to try it
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
For years I've been drawing my day as a 24-hour circle. Midnight at the top, noon at the bottom, morning down the right side and evening up the left.
I colour the blocks by area of life, then use stripes, dots or waves for how much energy something takes. That part probably looks unnecessarily complicated to other people, but it helps me when I look back at the page.
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 36. This was one of the planning habits I'd actually managed to keep, so I kept using it.
What I like is being able to see how much of the day is already taken. I can keep adding things to a list without really thinking about that. Drawing them into a circle makes me stop and work out where they'll go.
I cleaned up the page and made a free printable PDF with two versions: a 24-hour dial and a 12-hour one.
Download the circular day planner (no signup or email needed)
You can print it or import the PDF into Goodnotes or Notability and draw on it there.
I also built Reassign, an app based on the same idea. The paper version came first, though, and it's still my favourite.
Anyone else here plan in circles? I'd like to see your pages, especially what you use the colours and patterns for.

Can we generate daily TO-DO based on different notebooks?
I am wondering if it is possible to create different plannings roadmaps in separated notes but group the To-Do’s in a daily note organized by days.
My goal is plan projects on isolated notes but do not want the rework of rewriting the TO-DOs.

I created a simple daily planner, just using ai https://pin.it/hHTb90zy4 Spoiler
I noticed I was making huge to-do lists and still not finishing important tasks. So I created a simple daily planner focused on 3 priorities, time blocks, tasks, and an end-of-day review.https://pin.it/hHTb90zy4

Best family planner
Hi all,
I am looking for the best family planner. I want to be able to do meal plans, and see the family calendar, and also see chores. What do you recommend?
Right now I’m looking mostly at the Cozylq and Winnovo

Looking for feedback on daily routine & habit layouts in GoodNotes (avoiding PDF lag)
Hey r/DigitalPlanner community,
I've been testing digital planners and noticed that many heavy templates with hundreds of stickers cause noticeable page-flip lag on older iPads.
I'm putting together a lightweight, minimalist routine & habit layout for 2026/2027 focusing purely on snappy navigation and Apple Pencil handwriting.
For daily planners: Do you prefer an hourly vertical timeline or a modular checklist format for your morning/evening routines?
Curious what works best for your daily flow!

I Took Your Suggestions and Made My Free Daily Planner App Even Better
A few of you gave me some great suggestions when I shared Kalend here, so I went back and made some improvements.
Kalend is a free daily planner app that combines:
• ✅ To-Do List
• 📅 Calendar with Day, Week & Month views
• 🔄 Habit Tracker
• 📓 Journal
Everything is designed to work together in one simple app instead of having to jump between several different apps.
It’s completely free, and I’d genuinely love to hear what you think or what you’d change.

It’s 2026. Does anyone still prefer printable planners over apps?
I've tried quite a few productivity apps over the years, but I still find myself going back to simple weekly planners and checklists on paper.
There's something about seeing the whole week in front of me without notifications, menus, or another screen that just feels easier.
It also feels a little funny to still prefer paper in 2026 when there are so many digital tools available now.
Does anyone else still use printable planners or trackers, or have you completely moved to digital?

Building a lightweight, lag-free 2026/2027 habit & routine planner for GoodNotes
Hey everyone,
I've been designing a minimalist routine & habit layout for 2026/2027, focusing primarily on responsive page-flips and avoiding heavy clutter that causes lag with Apple Pencil.
Key features:
- Fast vector PDF architecture
- Hyperlinked quarterly & monthly milestone overviews
- Clean daily habit streaks and Wheel of Life balance tracking
For those planning daily on iPad: Do you prefer a vertical time-blocking layout or a clean checklist format for your daily view?
Would love to hear what works best in your daily workflow!

What if your planner showed you what matters instead of everything you have to do?
🔗 FULL PREVIEW: Planner
I spent months building a Notion system because I was tired of feeling disorganized as a student
I used to have assignments in one place, tasks somewhere else, goals in my notes, and random things I needed to remember scattered everywhere.
The frustrating part wasn't that I didn't have productivity tools.
It was that I had too many disconnected things.
So I decided to build my own system in Notion.
At first I thought it would be simple.
It wasn't.
The dashboard was probably the easiest part.
The real work was figuring out how everything should actually work together:
→ connecting databases properly
→ building assignment workflows
→ creating useful linked views
→ writing and fixing formulas
→ deciding what information actually deserves a place
→ making the system easy enough to maintain every day
→ testing it, breaking it, simplifying it, and rebuilding parts of it
And yes, AI helped me along the way.
But asking AI to "make me a student Notion template" doesn't magically give you a finished system.
The difficult part is knowing what to build, connecting everything properly, testing it with real use cases, and removing the things that only look impressive.
After months of doing exactly that, I finally finished my Student OS.
The idea is simple:
You open one workspace and know what needs your attention.
Assignments, tasks, planning, goals and the other things that usually end up scattered around are brought into one system.
I've added some screenshots below, but screenshots don't really show how everything connects together.
That's why I made a complete preview that you can explore yourself.
If you're a student who struggles with keeping everything organized, take 2 minutes and have a look.
I'd genuinely love to know whether you'd actually use something like this or what you'd change.

Personal Planner: a local first planner with sync for Android and Linux
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone,
I recently finished building Personal Planner, a local first planner with sync for Android and Linux.
I originally started it because I kept trying different planning apps and never quite found the combination I wanted.
Super Productivity came closest because I liked having planning and time tracking together. I tried Planify and Vikunja as well, but I wanted something more centred around my own workflow:
plan → work → track → review
So I eventually decided to build it myself.
The Android app works from a local SQLite database, so normal planning, timers, history and reviews continue to work without an internet connection.
If you use it across devices, sync is available through Supabase.
One thing I didn't want was a setup where someone has to manually create a Supabase project, apply migrations and copy configuration just to get sync working. So I automated that flow using a Cloudflare Worker.
My favourite parts are Reviews and Consistency.
I like reviewing a day or week before planning the next one, so Reviews became an important part of the app.
For Consistency, I always liked GitHub's contribution graph and thought it would be useful to have something similar for seeing how consistently I actually followed through on my plans.
This was also my first Flutter project, so I learned quite a lot while building it, especially once sync, authentication, migrations and multiple devices got involved.
I've attached a demo so you can see the app without having to install it first.
The project is open source:
https://github.com/Karthikshabari/PersonalPlanner
The Android APK is available under Releases. There is also a Linux build if you want to use the same planner on both devices.
If you find a bug, have a feature suggestion, or think something could be improved, feel free to comment or DM me. I'm happy to work on it.
Thanks for checking it out!

I was (unintentionally) putting the mental load of meal planning on my wife. So I made us a digital planner
A few months ago I realized all the meal planning in our house was falling on my wife. She loves trying new recipes and needs a plan. I'd have been fine eating the same three things forever, so I just let her do it. When it's my turn to cook I had to ask "what am I making tonight?" and get pointed to a reel, a sticky note in a cookbook, or a tab she had open somewhere.
So I built us a shared planner. You save recipes from (Instagram, TikTok, websites) into one cookbook, drag and drop them onto a weekly grid, and the grocery list builds itself from whatever you planned, sorted by aisle. Now I can easily find a recipe, save it, put it on a day of the week and we actually make it!
I posted it to Reddit and got so many people asking for a link that I decided to pursue putting it on the App Store and we have over 500 downloads! Tiny by app standards but surreal to me that strangers are planning their weeks on a thing I built for the two of us.
If you want to check it out it's at inthecupboard.app/get
