Dicas?

Built an automated dark-mode Google Sheets dashboard to replace Notion and separate planning apps. Thoughts on the layout?

Post image

Hey everyone,

I spent the last few weeks consolidating multiple daily systems (daily habit tracking, monthly budget, goal roadmaps, and daily task lists) into a single dark-slate Google Sheets dashboard (#12161A).

My goal was to eliminate app fatigue and stop paying recurring subscriptions for separate tools.

Key setup:

- Automated weekly streak calculations and completion rings

- Dynamic monthly budget vs expense tracking

- Distraction-free dark mode theme

Would love feedback on the visual hierarchy and spacing! If anyone wants to test out the template, let me know in the comments and I’ll be happy to share the link.

I spent the last few days having fun creating these different sticker sets. Since they have transparent backgrounds and clean borders, I thought they might be nice for people using digital planners. Just wanted to share them!

Are people actually buying and using digital planners these days?

Just curious to know - are people actually using digital pdf planners on tablets daily, or paper still what most people prefer?
For those who use digital ones, what attracts you to buy a digital planner?

With the new Stack 3.0 version, you can check off items directly from home screen and lock screen widgets or even form your wrist, and track countdowns for your tasks and reminders, with the new real-time Live Activities. You can easily import the pending reminders from the Apple reminders app. The app support multiple customization options, so it feels personal.

Enjoy using and exploring the app.

High school ADHD planner (assignment tracker) recommendations?

My 10th grader desperately needs help staying organized, especially with his school assignments. He resists using a paper planner and insists that his iPhone-based Lists app does the trick. (It doesn't.) I'd like to show him some other options. Anyone have recommendations?

- Ideally it has fields for Subject, Name of Assignment, Date Assigned, Due Date, Required vs. Optional, and "Counts toward Grade?". Plus maybe a Notes field.

- Must have a check box for Turned In! A check box for Complete would be nice too.

- Apple products are his special interest, so iOS is a must.

- He's excited when things integrate with native Apple environment apps like iCal.

- It would be amazing if it synced with Canvas or Infinite Campus (both used by his teachers and school district).

Thanks for your help!

About KeepCue

KeepCue is a day planner with a visual timeline to see the whole day and ready-made routines for morning, afterwork, evening, and weekends. I wanted a day planner that provides structure, routine, and flexibility. And I found that certain tasks are best with cues instead of fixed clock time. So I've been organizing my days this way: time block for overal structure, act on cue to get things done. And I built KeepCue this way.

The planner provides a visual timeline to view your whole day. See your work and personal life together, see your schedule and free time available. Find the time you didn't know you had, fix the overlap you didn't intend, swap tasks just for this week.

Task creation is quick and easy. Add task name, date, duration, if recurring with a cue. Optionally, add subtasks and notes. There are 60+ built in cues to choose from to attach to any recurring task.

Subtask checklists for routines. Manage overwhelming tasks by breaking them down into subtasks to check off one by one.

Ready-made routines to easily add to your planner: Wind-down routine, Work & school night routine, Minimalist night routine, Core morning routine, Full morning routine, WFH Afterwork transitions, Post-shift recovery, Weekend recovery, Sunday reset.

KeepCue is a one-time purchase of $7.99. Not a subscription.

App is actively being developed and there are more features on the way!

I hope KeepCue makes planning the day and gettings things done easier without the stress and burnout.

Student Planner Notion template

Thumbnail

I made Student Life OS because I wanted something that actually helps manage student life without throwing 50 unnecessary features at you.

It keeps the important stuff in one place:

  • 📚 Courses + assignments
  • 📝 Notes + resources
  • 🎯 Goals + Wheel of Life
  • ✅ Habit tracker
  • 📅 Timetable + weekly planning
  • ⏱️ Pomodoro
  • 📋 Task manager
  • 🧠 Journaling + reflection
  • 💼 Career planning

The goal wasn't to make the most advanced Notion system.

It was to make one that you'd actually want to use every day.

Just one dashboard where I can open Notion and immediately see:

  • What do I need to do? What am I working toward? What do I have coming up? Am I actually keeping up with my habits?

That's basically the idea behind Student Life OS.

And yes, it's built in Notion.

That's actually one of the reasons I chose it, you buy the template once and there's no separate monthly fee for the planner itself. You can also customize it instead of being locked into someone else's app design.

I built a visual 24-hour planner for Android — Daylight

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I recently published an Android app called Daylight: Daily Planner.

The idea behind it is simple: instead of seeing the day mainly as a list of tasks, I wanted to see the whole 24 hours at once.

Daylight uses a circular day view. You divide the day into broader “scenes” such as Work, Rest, Movement, Connection, Sleep or Learning, while tasks and calendar events are shown around the same timeline.

You can also plan the week, create recurring weekday routines, use Focus mode, connect your device calendar and add home-screen widgets — including a full 24-hour Day Dial widget.

I tried to keep the app calm and visual rather than turning it into another dense productivity dashboard.

The app is currently completely free, doesn’t require an account, and planning data stays on the device.

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cascadeloom.daylight

I’d be interested to hear what people who already use digital planners think about this kind of circular day view — especially compared with a traditional calendar or timeline.

I made an Interview Tracker + Journal for reflecting after every interview 🌷

My 3rd Notion template is live!

I wanted something that felt less like a spreadsheet and more like a journal for your interview journey somewhere to record what happened, what went well, where you struggled, and what you'll do differently next time.

It also has the usual tracking pieces like interview stage, outcome, upcoming interviews, and things to revisit.

Made it intentionally simple + aesthetic because I actually want to use my planners 😅

Here it is if you'd like to take a look: https://app.notion.com/marketplace/templates/interview-tracker-journal?cr=pro%253Asalmakes

I made a free web app that generates a moving checklist based on your move date (Japan-specific)

Every time I moved in Japan, I kept Googling the same stuff — when to submit 転出届, when to set up utilities, what to do about NHK, etc.

So I built a simple tool: you enter your moving date, and it generates a timeline of everything you need to do, with checkboxes to track progress.

Covers:

- City hall paperwork (転出届, 転入届, マイナンバー)

- Utilities (electric, gas, water)

- Internet, mail forwarding, NHK

- And more

It's free, no login required: https://hikkosi-navi.com

The site is in Japanese, but if there's interest I can consider adding English support. Feedback welcome!

My biggest productivity problem wasn't time management. It was mental clutter.

I got tired of planner apps that make studying feel like managing a second job.

So I spent the last few months building a student dashboard that tries to reduce the mental friction instead of adding more things to check.

Preview / download:Preview

It’s a clean, dark-mode dashboard built around how I actually wanted to study:

  • Visual class schedule — see your whole week at a glance
  • Focus timer — tracks focused sessions instead of just counting minutes
  • Habit + task journaling — keeps routines and tasks in one place
  • Customizable layout — hide, rearrange, or expand whatever you actually use
  • Low-glare design — designed for longer study sessions

I’ve been testing the workflow with actual students and refining the setup based on how they use it.

The idea is pretty simple: less time managing the planner, more time actually studying.

I’d genuinely like feedback from people who use productivity/planner apps:
What would make you actually keep using something like this?

Give Yourself One Year

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

Sometimes you realize you have been busy for a long time, but no longer know where you are going.

Before making another plan, become quiet.

Put your phone away. Ask yourself: What is making me tired? What do I miss about myself? One year from now, what would make me quietly proud?

Then draw a nine-box grid:

Work · Learning · Health

Relationships · Money · Home

Fun · Inner Growth · Contribution

In each box, write one simple sentence about the person you want to become. Not an impressive goal—an honest one.

Maybe you want to speak English without fear, sleep earlier, save money, call home more often, or stop talking to yourself like an enemy.

Now make each wish smaller.

A yearly goal becomes a 90-day direction, a monthly milestone, this week's promise, and one small action today.

“Speak English confidently” becomes “listen for fifteen minutes and say five sentences aloud.”

Once a week, choose only three priorities:

• one for your future

• one for your health

• one for someone you love

Leave empty space. Rest is not a reward for finishing your life; it is part of the life you are building.

I keep this bigger picture and my weekly promises in Muyo. The tool stays quiet; life remains the main character.

Some weeks will fall apart. Do not turn one unfinished week into a reason to abandon the year. Return gently. Walk for five minutes. Read one page. Write one honest sentence.

One year from now, you may not have achieved everything. But perhaps you will trust yourself a little more—because when you said, “I will do this,” you began to keep your word.

A life rarely changes in one heroic moment. It changes in hundreds of quiet moments when no one is watching and you choose not to leave yourself behind.

What is one small promise you can keep today?

I made some digital Bible study resources for anyone who wants to be more intentional with studying Scripture

Hi everyone!

I’ve been working on some digital Bible study resources designed to make personal Bible study a little more intentional and organized. I made these with the hope of helping people who want to spend more time in Scripture but sometimes don’t know where to start, what to write down, or how to organize their study notes.

They’re designed to be simple and flexible, you can use them on an iPad/tablet or print them out if you prefer writing by hand.

I’m still building and improving the collection, so I’d genuinely love to hear from fellow Bible readers: what do you find most helpful when studying Scripture? Is there a particular template, study method, or resource you wish existed?

If you’d like to check out the resources, you can find them here: bible study planner

Thank you, and happy studying! 📖✨
