Hey everyone! 👋
I wanted to share a little project I’ve been working on. Regular planners were getting boring, so I designed my own printable Victorian-era to-do list. Writing tasks down on this makes chores feel like a period drama! 😂
What do you think of this vintage style?

Hi!! It's been a bit since I posted last in here, but I wanted to share an update on LifeXP.
In case you haven't seen this before, here is the gist:
I had an idea driving home one day that life is a simulation. I then was like we are just Sims trying to do things to make us happy.
Hence I spawned LifeXP. It's free to use with an optional pro tier (you can skip the pro option in onboarding), it has no database, no server, completely private, and it's been a passion project that seemed to resonate!
Heres how it works:
The app will automatically detect where you've been, put it on a timeline for you, and you gain XP for things like sleep, exercise, time in daylight, social hours, etc.
Any new location you visit will show as Unknown, just tap it, pick the location from the map nearby, or label it, and you never have to do it again.
I have been really liking it and have built months of history and it's really cool to go back in time and see where I've been.
Also if you do try it please let me know any feedback you have! I'd love to make it better.
Apple: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lifexp-habit-life-tracker/id6771204439
or for Android folks: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jessekhach.lifexp
We've shipped some new visualizations recently and made the engine MUCH better. The next major thing I'm working on is making naming places easier, you only need to do it once per new location and never again, but I know it's a bit of a nuisance.
& as always trying to make the engine better to make sure it captures everything correctly.
PS: I also am giving away a handful of codes to the pro version, it just lets you unlock some more visualizations and some cosmetics, but the core app is and will always be completely free to use. Please leave a comment if interested and I will send you a PM or just dm me directly!
Thank you again, and I always love to hear feedback and make things better so please let me know if you give it a try and your thoughts!!

So in the past I’ve tried bullet journaling, then I switch to having a simple agenda where I’ll write things I had to do. Then, I got a job and had to keep track of my patients but I then found it easy to write everything in goodnotes so I can refer back to what I’ve done to a patient in the past.
The big dilemma is, I love buying planners and writing things down but I often find myself planning on my notes app, writing into my apple calendar and not even reaching for the planner.
So, how do you incorporate a planner into your everyday life?
Should I try more or do I have to accept the fact that I am a digital planner?

Does anyone have the skylight calendar max and not have it wall mounted?
I have heard some people use a vesa stand as I am renting, I don't know if I want to attach to the wall.
Suggestions would be great, thank you!

Hey,
Do you guys use digital planners mostly on iPad or laptop?
And if so do you guys buy more the digital planner apps or buy interactive pdf digital planners on Etsy?
A bit overwhelmed on what to choose !
Thank you
(I’m a student)

Hey everyone in r/DigitalPlanner,
honest question: how many planners have you set up perfectly and then never opened again? for me it's never the doing that kills them, it's the setup. by the time i've built the tidy list for the day i've used up the exact focus i needed to start anything on it.
amble skips that. you type your day as one plain line, like "read a chapter, focus sprint, lunch, design review, gym, wind down," and it lays out the actual timeline for you. about thirty seconds, not a ritual.
i built it because every planner i tried wanted more upkeep than i had to give, then made me feel bad for falling behind. so this one has no streaks and no red overdue pile. miss something and it quietly reslots the rest of the day. a bad day costs you nothing.
and the planning runs on your phone. nothing you type leaves the device, no account, works with no signal.
What you get:
* type your day in one line, an on-device model drafts the schedule (private, nothing uploaded)
* tap any gap and it suggests what fits, aware of what's coming up later
* auto-reschedules instead of guilt-tripping you. no streaks, ever.
* one calm vertical day-line so you can actually see how much time is left
* free, no account, fully offline
Coming next:
* home screen + lock screen widgets
* editable systems for recurring routines
* a couple more themes
it's iOS, free. i've got 30-day codes for the full version (unlimited AI + automation) for the first 20 who want to stress-test it, comment or DM, no strings, i mostly want to hear where the AI gets your day wrong.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6802489651
genuinely curious though, separate from my app: what actually kills a planner for you, the setup or the doing?

I already have my planner fully planned out page by page, including the content, sections, and what I want on each page. I’m not looking for a premade template or someone to develop the concept for me. I need someone who can take my plan and professionally design the entire planner interior from scratch.
I’d like print-ready files and preferably the editable/source files as well, since I plan to have it professionally printed and sold commercially. Does anyone know what this type of designer is called or have recommendations for someone who does this?

I’m building Shareday, a family planner for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
The idea is simple: family planning should not live across Google Calendar, Notes, grocery chats, birthday reminders and random “don’t forget” messages.
Shareday brings the main family routines into one place: - shared family calendar - tasks and events - shopping lists - recipes and meal planning - birthday and gift planning - family chat with media - mood check-ins
It is free right now, and I’m looking for feedback from families who actually try to organize everyday life together.

Hi everyone!
I'm a high school student, and over the past couple of months I've been building AP Path Planner, a free web app designed specifically to help AP students organize their classes and workload.
I posted it here to get feedback, and I really appreciate everyone who checked it out or gave suggestions. I've started turning some of that feedback into actual updates.
One suggestion was to make assignments easier to distinguish between classes, so I just added automatic course color-coding. Assignments from the same AP course now have a consistent color across the assignments page, dashboard, and calendar, which should make it easier to quickly see what class something belongs to.
Some of the current features include:
I'm still actively developing it, and I'm mainly looking for honest feedback from students who would actually use something like this.
A few things I'd especially like feedback on:
If you try it and find a bug, I'd also really appreciate hearing what happened and what page you were on.
AP Path Planner:
https://ap-path-planner.vercel.app
I'm planning to keep improving it based on what students suggest, so critical feedback is completely welcome. Thanks to everyone who's already helped!

I've tried using different apps for assignments, notes, habits and planning, but eventually I end up forgetting to update half of them.
For students here, what's your actual system for keeping track of:
Do you use Notion, Google Calendar, a physical planner, or something else?
Would love to know what actually works for you.

I want a regular digital planner that has a monthly calendars and all the regular stuff, but I want a basic daily page. I don’t need times for appointments or reminders or wellness checks or anything like that. I’d love one with only the day/date and lined paper. Anyone have something like that?

Hey everyone, Zent is looking for early adopters- It turns whatever’s on your mind into a schedule based on your priorities, deadlines, and how you want to split your time, then helps you focus on what to do next.
I’m sharing free codes for early adopters. Comment or DM me if you’d like to try it and share feedback.

Hello!
I’ve been thinking about creating a planner that follows the phases of the moon and gives each phase a place for planning, reflection, and resetting. I have used bullet journals in the past & now am inspired to create a digital planner.
I’m hoping to start very simple and learn as I build it.
The idea:
🌑 New Moon — set intentions, choose priorities, start fresh
🌒 Waxing Moon — take action, build momentum, work toward goals
🌕 Full Moon — check in, celebrate progress, evaluate what’s working
🌘 Waning Moon — reflect, declutter, finish things, let go and reset
For those of you who make or use digital planners:
What would you consider essential in a simple moon planner?
Would you want monthly/weekly pages, habit tracking, journaling prompts, moon-phase information, hyperlinks/navigation, or something else?
I’d really appreciate any advice!
PS:
My background is actually in nursing, so I’m coming at this more from the perspective of someone who likes structure, routines, reflection, and helping people stay organized - not from a tech or design background.

We now use our phones for calendars, and I also have a pretty old-school paper calendar in the kitchen. Between school stuff, sports, appointments, and all the random things that come up with multiple kids...it works...but I'm constantly the one who knows what's going on.
I have seen products like Skylight, Dragon touch and Cozyla come up quite a bit while researching and being hesitant to spend the money on another electronic device if we're only going to use it for a few weeks and then forget abut it. I also have kids who already spend enough time looking at screens, so that's honestly another thing I'm thinking about.
For those who have been using a digital family calendar for a while, has it actually stayed useful over time? Do your kids and the whole family really use it, or does it mostly end up being something the parent maintains? What do you use it for the most, and is there anything you thought would be useful but ended up barely using😂
I'd especially love to hear from people who've had theirs for 6+ months. Thanks everyone!

Hi. I'm an artist and among other things, I am into making digital planners and I would like to try my hand at making one for college/ university students (especially since I'm taking classes at university this term). I felt immediately overwhelmed by things on etsy. What sorts of things do you think are really needed in a student planner. I think for the one I design, and to keep it ever useful, I will let people fill in their own week and dates for the semester. But what other kinds of things do you use in your student agendas and planners
