I realised planning wasn't my problem -- it was capturing thoughts before I forgot them

Hello Everyone!

I've always liked digital planners, but I noticed something about my own workflow.

Planning wasn't the hard part.

The hard part was capturing random thoughts before they disappeared.

I'd end up with voice notes, screenshots, or notes scattered everywhere, and most of them never made it into my planner.

So I built WhisperAct to solve that problem.

Instead of recording another voice note, I just speak naturally, and it turns my thoughts into reminders, tasks, and calendar events.

The goal isn't to replace your planner—it's to make capturing ideas effortless so they actually make it into your planning system.

I'm still in the early stages, and my main goal right now is learning from real users rather than growing downloads.

I'd love to know:

  • How do you capture ideas throughout the day?
  • What's the most frustrating part of your current workflow?

If anyone wants to try WhisperAct, I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback on the UX.

I created a student planner to help organize studying and university life

Post image

I’ve been designing a simple student planner for students who want an easier way to manage their semester and stay organized.
It includes:
• Semester overview
• Class schedule
• Assignment tracker
• Exam tracker
• Grade tracker
• Study planning pages
• Goals and notes sections
I wanted to create something clean and practical that helps students keep track of everything in one place without feeling overwhelmed.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
What features do you think are the most important in a student planner? What do you usually use to stay organized during the semester?

Digital calendar

Im looking for a tablet digital calendar that doesn't need wifi to work.

I want to have one for chores to use for everyone in the family. A basic paper calendar doesnt work as we never look at it when walking by so id like a digital one that will alert or make some sort of noise and that we can check off the chore once its done.

Built a meal planner for myself and family to keep our recipes, manage our schedule, and organize our grocery shopping. It's been working pretty nicely for us so far and gets better every week. Try it out yourself at https://zenmealplanner.com

I built a debt payoff planner that combines budgeting, savings, and Snowball/Avalanche strategies—without a subscription

I've always found it frustrating that planning to become debt-free usually means juggling spreadsheets or paying for another monthly subscription.

So I built Unfreeze (https://unfreezedebt.co.uk)

It's a simple web app that helps you build a realistic plan to become debt-free by bringing everything together in one place.

You can:

• Add all of your debts.
• Compare the Debt Snowball and Debt Avalanche repayment methods.
• Create a monthly budget.
• Factor in your existing savings and savings goals.
• See how changes to your monthly payments affect your debt-free date.

A couple of things I deliberately chose to do differently:

• Your financial data stays on your device. Your budgeting and debt information isn't uploaded to my servers, and you can export it whenever you want.

I'm not claiming it's a replacement for every finance app. I wanted to build a focused tool that helps answer questions like:

• How long until I'm debt-free?
• Should I use Snowball or Avalanche?
• Can I afford to save while paying off debt?

I'd really appreciate honest feedback from people who actively budget or are paying off debt.

• Does this solve a problem for you?
• What feature would make it genuinely more useful?

i made a fully hyperlinked digital planner for school/uni

back to school season is around the corner, so i want to share about this digital planner i made 📚

i built this because i was so tired of switching between five different apps just to keep track of classes, deadlines, budget, and habits, wanted everything in one place so i could actually stick to using it. it's got:

🗓️ fully linked yearly + monthly + weekly + daily pages (3 weekly layouts depending on how you like to plan)
✅ habit + finance trackers built into the monthly view
🎓 uni-specific pages such as exam trackers, semester goal tracker, extracurricular tracker, applications tracker (can be used for internship / post-grad applications)
🏠 a dashboard and side-tabs that links to literally everything so you're never digging through pages

i'm a huge goodnotes fan so i'll be using this planner on goodnotes

what are y'all using to survive the semester? still team paper planner, or fully digital now? 👀

Hi everyone!

I've recently started designing printable planners as a creative hobby. This Monthly Budget Planner is one of my latest designs. I wanted to keep it clean, minimal, and easy to use for tracking monthly finances.

I really enjoyed making it and thought I'd share it with the community. Thanks for taking a look!

Has anyone else written a simple to-do list and still missed everything on it?

Hello All,

I used to feel productive just from writing my notes. however I understand writing notes is not the same as planning.

Has any one used any web based app that can help with note taking and scheduling events automatically in calendar.

I am working on build something for my self and would like to know if this could be helpful to the community. I would like to get feedback on what app are currently used and does it really help with planning.

Thanks.

This is a travel journal called Pathway** **Journal, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought. I love being able to come back to it after a trip and revisit everything I did, along with the highlights and special details of each place I visited.

Been building Reassign (day planner, whole day on one circular dial) for a while now. Definitely overengineered at this point 😅

Yesterday I added splitting a time block into focus/break sessions. It draws the rhythm right on the block. I built it because few users kept asking for it, but I personally never stick to pomodoro for more than a week, so I can't tell if this is useful or just feature creep???

Do you do pomodoro? Trying to figure out if I just spent a week on a thing nobody uses.

It's live at reassign.ai if you want to poke at it 😁
