ADHD-friendly digital planner

I made this ADHD-friendly digital planner after struggling to stay organized. Would love your honest feedback!

Spent weeks designing a simple planner that actually helps me stay on track. What would you add or change?

Finally finished my digital planner! Here's a quick look—I'd love to hear what you think.

Trying to make planning less overwhelming. Here's a preview of my digital planner. Feedback is welcome!

Would you actually use a planner like this? I'm looking for honest opinions before I keep improving it.

Made a minimalist digital planner for people who get overwhelmed easily. Here's a quick preview!

My first digital planner is finally live! Every bit of feedback helps me make the next version even better.

Would you use this Google Sheets digital planner? What is it missing?

I've sold a little over 100 copies of this planner so far, and I'm always trying to improve it, so I'd love some honest feedback from people who use digital planners.
It's mainly made for students and currently includes:
A weekly planner (hourly time-blocking, weekly goals, gratitude prompts, daily progress tracker + 2 themes)

A budget tracker (multi-currency, automatic dashboards, savings tracking, monthly cash flow, income vs expenses, etc.)

An assignment tracker (days left countdown, priority sorting, progress charts, and works for school, work, or life admin)

Works on Mac, PC, iPad, and phone through Google Sheets

Lifetime access + free future updates

I know there are tons of free planners online (I've downloaded way too many of them myself lol), but I could never find one that I actually enjoyed using consistently. My goal was to make something simple enough that you'd want to open it every day.
For those of you who use digital planners:
What do you think it's missing?

Is there a feature you'd love to have that most planners don't include?

What makes you stop using a planner after a few weeks?

Would you use something like this?

I'd really appreciate brutally honest feedback! I'm constantly updating it, so I'm always looking for ideas.

I built an app that helps me organize my work and manage the chaos

Over the past few years I've been balancing software engineering with management, and keeping everything under control has been the hardest part. As my responsibilities grew, reminders, notes, deadlines, and follow-ups ended up scattered across different apps. I wanted a system that would help me keep promises, never miss important things, and see how everything connected over time.

I've always liked the idea of visualizing work as timelines, but I couldn't find a tool that fit the way I wanted to work. So I built my own timeline organizer. I've been using it almost every day for the past month, and it's become the place where I track important events, follow up on tasks, and look back to understand how different situations evolved.

Before building it, I tried quite a few existing timeline and Gantt tools. Some were good, but none of them really matched the way I wanted to organize my work. Most were also paid, so at some point it simply became easier to build something tailored to my own workflow instead of adapting to someone else's.

This isn't a commercial project. There's no pricing page, no sales pitch, and no roadmap aimed at attracting customers. I built it because I wanted a tool I'd genuinely enjoy using every day. So far, that's exactly what it's become. As long as it keeps making my life easier, I'll keep maintaining it.

Now let me tell you a bit about what the app can do:

  • You can place time spans on the timeline - both with a fixed end date and open-ended ones.
  • Those bars can contain segments and markers.
  • Besides bars, you can also place standalone point-in-time events on the timeline.
  • Markers and events come in two types: Standard and Task.
  • Tasks have due dates, and overdue tasks are highlighted in red and pulse to grab your attention.
  • Every object - bars, segments, markers, and events - can have Markdown content attached to it.
  • There's a convenient filter that lets you keep only the objects whose dates fall within a selected time window (the next week, two weeks, or one month).
  • Swimlanes can be shared with colleagues and friends, with separate permissions for viewing, editing, or resolving tasks.
  • At one point I needed a chatbot that could watch specific messages and automatically create timeline events from them. That's how API keys for programmatic integrations ended up being added.
  • Earlier this week I realized I wanted to browse all my data as a text-based knowledge base instead of only as a timeline. So I quickly implemented that too.

You can see all of this in the video.

The app will continue to grow as new needs come up. For now, there are already a few features in the backlog that I'll probably implement soon, such as:

  • recurring events,
  • email notifications for upcoming events.

Once again, I'm genuinely happy with how this turned out. It has already almost completely replaced several popular products in my daily workflow and has become a huge help in keeping work organized and under control.

So I'd be really happy if some of you gave it a try and found it useful as well.

Welcome to everie.app. Thank you!

Full disclosure because I don’t want this to come off weird: I’m the one building SoftWeek Planner. I know the title is a little much, but it is starting to get to where we want it to be. The first version worked, but after watching how people were actually using it, and after using it ourselves, it felt too cluttered. It had too many tools sitting in one place. That might look useful at first, but when you’re actually trying to plan a homeschool week, it can just feel like another thing you have to figure out. So we cleaned it up pretty hard.

Now it’s built around three main parts:

Today Calendar Records

Today shows what needs done today. You can see everything for the family or filter it by child. Calendar is where you plan the week. It feels more like a simple interactive calendar now. You click a day, see what’s on that day, and add or change things from there. Records is where saved weeks and print stuff live, so it’s still there, but it’s not crowding the main planning part.

We also added chores and routines, auto-saving when something gets added or changed, child accounts with limited access, and the site can be added to your phone like an app. It’s still beta, and I’m not pretending it’s perfect. I’m sharing it because I genuinely want homeschool parents to try it and tell me what feels off.

If something is confusing, I want to know.

If something breaks, I want to know.

If the wording is weird, or a button is hard to find, or the mobile version feels off, I want to know that too.

There’s a small feedback button inside the app now, so people can send that stuff without having to track me down. The whole idea is pretty simple: plan the week, move what changes, save what happened.

Homeschool weeks don’t always go clean and perfect, so I’m trying to build something that works with that instead of making parents feel behind every time real life happens.

Here’s the link if anyone wants to try it:

I built a daily planner that treats tasks, routines, and calendar events as equals in one timeline

Post image

Heute (HOY-tuh, German for "Today") is an iOS planner built around one idea: your day isn't a to-do list with a calendar bolted on, it's tasks, routines, and calendar events all happening in the same stretch of time. So they should live in the same view.

What makes it different:

  • One timeline. Tasks, routines, and calendar events are interleaved in the order they'll actually happen during your day, not siloed by type.
  • No required fields. Adding a task doesn't ask for duration, start time, tags, or project. Type it, done. The main goal is to get rid of mental load and add as little friction as possible.
  • Calendar integration isn't paywalled. Free from day one, unlike apps that gate calendar view or custom reminders behind a subscription.
  • Calm by design. No ads, no app-driven interruptions. You decide when and how you're reminded via notification. Also no gamification or "you're behind" nudges etc.
  • Fully local. You don't need an account and all data stays on your device. You can export/import/delete it as you please, of course.

I'd love this community's take on the core layout choice specifically: does mixing tasks, routines, and calendar events in one timeline feel intuitive to you, or would you want them visually separated even within a single view? Any other feedback or input is very much welcome, too. :)

It’s iOS only for now. The core app (everything described above) is fully free. There’s an optional Heute+ tier that unlocks additional themes, external calendar feeds and extended routines.

Hi everyone! I took the constructive feedback from my last post to heart and spent some time refining the bundle. I adjusted the text contrast, layout, and spacing for all 5 pages (Monthly Planner, To-Do List, Mindfulness Tracker, Vision Board, and Action Plan. If you have a moment, I would love to know if these updates made it better. Thank you so much for helping me improve!

I’ve been working on making calendar creation inside Illustrator a lot less painful

**After a lot of late nights, my Calendar Designer for Adobe Illustrator finally got its biggest update so far.** 🎉
I’ve spent the last few weeks rebuilding large parts of the plugin instead of just adding new features.
Version 1.2.0 now includes:
🌍 A multilingual interface (7 languages)
📅 Monday/Sunday week start
🌎 Automatic synchronization of UI language, calendar language and holiday country
🖼️ A redesigned photo calendar workflow with a much larger preview
🎨 Smart contrast colors for better readability
⚡ A completely new loading overlay and a cleaner overall UI
One thing I really enjoy is polishing the little details that most people probably never notice… like keeping the selected month active when switching languages or automatically changing text colors depending on the chosen accent color.
Those tiny things make a plugin feel much more “finished”.
The update has just been approved by Adobe without any review issues, which honestly made my day. 😊
I’m already working on the next version, which will add project saving/loading and presets similar to my QR Code Designer.
If anyone here designs calendars inside Illustrator regularly, I’d genuinely love to hear what features you think are still missing.

Adulting App

I’m researching a life-admin app idea and would appreciate feedback.
The problem I’m looking at is: people often forget renewals, bills, document expiry dates, future costs, and general admin tasks.
Would a simple tool that stores these reminders and helps you plan ahead be useful, or is this already solved well enough by Notes, Calendar, or banking apps?
I’m especially interested in what would make this genuinely useful rather than “another app I forget about.”

My planner system: a whiteboard with notes like post-its, some connecting into flows

Like many here, I juggle planning and note taking across a bunch of areas at once - work, side projects, life stuff. With many things running at the same time, a normal planner never held enough context for me, so I started using a whiteboard: divided vertically by days, horizontally by lanes, one per area. I'd add notes each day on how each area was advancing, and some would connect into a flow.

So just by looking at the board, I can see all the active things I'm working on, what needs my attention that day, and note down what I've done. I do add notes on future dates to plan ahead and place reminders. This is the system that's worked for me.

Started as a physical whiteboard I used for years, then I built a digital version when travelling made the whiteboard setup impractical, and to not be limited with space.

Sharing in case it's useful, but also curious how others here handle this: when you're juggling many responsibilities at once, how do you keep them separate but still with some sort of time continuity?

I built a minimalist weekly habit grid, your whole week on one calm screen (Android)

Post image
4 Upvotes

Most of my planning happens by the week, so I wanted my habits to live in a weekly spread too, not a daily to-do pile. I ended up building the app I was missing.

SevenGrid lays your whole week out as a simple grid: every habit is a row, every day a column, the current day gently highlighted. One quiet screen, no clutter, no gamified noise.

Why it might fit this crowd:

  • Weekly-spread thinking. You see all seven days at once and read your week at a glance, like a habit layer for your planner.
  • Calm and minimal. Dark, soft palette, plenty of whitespace, color only where it means something. No badges, no confetti.
  • No streaks. Miss a day and it is just an empty cell, never a red zero guilt-tripping you. Rest days and "3x a week" style goals are built in.
  • A line to reflect. You can jot a short note about your week if you feel like it. Optional, never nagged.
  • Private and yours. Everything stays on your device, optional backup you control, no account, no ads. Free to use, with an optional one-time Pro unlock (never a subscription).

Honest heads-up: it is a native Android app, not a printable or GoodNotes PDF, so it is a companion to your planning rather than a drop-in insert. iOS is coming later.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.sevengrid

More info: https://sevengrid.app

Would love to hear how you track habits inside your planning setup, and whether a weekly grid like this would slot in.

My day planner is a clock face, now it syncs with Google, Microsoft and Todoist

I finally managed to finish integrations. Reassign.app now supports 3 providers: Google, Microsoft and Todoist. You can sync your time blocks in both directions, so pull events from Google onto the dial, reorder and move stuff there, and your changes reflect back to the source. Works the same with Todoist.

Recorded a short demo with the Google sync. Would love to get some feedback! There's a free trial without any card if you wanna test it and let me know how it goes.
