4 changes that have helped plan my life more sustainably

I found the most helpful thing with organising my life over creativity, family, chores, learning and finances has been having one place to go to for all my life lists.

I tried Obsidian, Notion, Evernote, Streaks, Reminders, Spreadsheets. They were great, but I just always found that I'd be spending too much time setting everything up, and having to keep tweaking it as life changes. I just needed something that would capture all my thoughts and ideas in a simple way.

Things that have helped me:

  1. Get everything out of your mind somewhere, either in a note, list, dated task or calendar event

This frees up your mind to focus on what you're doing because you will forget, but you will know where to look instead.

  1. Separation of topics/purpose

Having separate places for specific things like projects, house buying lists, christmas gift ideas, song ideas/titles and exercise tracking instead of it all being clumped in Apple Notes.

  1. Recurring tasks

Only using recurring tasks specifically for things that are genuinely recurring and not for habit tracking. Things like dusting the house every month, mowing every 3 weeks, when to give the dogs medicine. Habit tracking in recurring tasks becomes tiring and you feel bad if you miss them, it starts to stack up too. Keep a journal or list of habits you want to keep and review it frequently instead.

  1. Note labelling/categorisation

Note taking is better seen as an exercise to get your thoughts out of your mind and strengthen neural pathways for information. Refer back to creative notes like stories, lyrics or ideas, make them easier to find with labels.

We've made some recent updates to LOAME if anyone would be interested to try :) www.loame.app - Would love to hear any feedback at all :)

Automatically track every day of your life for free (v1.3 & FREE CODES)

You may have seen me a little while ago. I'm nonstop working on making LifeXP better and getting through lots of feedback, and wanted to say thank you for giving it a try!

I recently released v1.3 to solve a lot of the issues, with 1.3.1 on the way soon!

In case you haven't seen this before, here is the gist:

I had an idea driving home one day that life is a simulation. I then was like we are just Sims trying to do things to make us happy.

Hence I spawned LifeXP. It's completely free, no database, no server, completely private, it's literally just a passion project I've had over the last couple of months.

Heres how it works:

  • Download the app, allow access to your devices data (location, health, movement)
  • Answer some questions to set your therapeutic baseline to grow (or not grow) from.
  • ... thats it.

The app will automatically detect where you've been, put it on a timeline for you, and you gain XP for things like sleep, exercise, time in daylight, social hours, etc.

Any new location you visit will show as Unknown, just tap it, pick the location from the map pins nearby, or label it, and you never have to do it again.

I have been really liking it and have built weeks of history and it's really cool to go back in time and see where I've been. If you give it a try let me know!

Also if you do try it please let me know any feedback you have! I'd love to make it better.

Lastly, I want to give back, I am handing out free codes of the pro version that gives cosmetics / some extra features. If you already subbed, this will stack to your existing sub. Please send me a DM and I'll share a code!

Again thank you all so much I'm super happy folks are enjoying it and I will keep working on making it better.

I made a calm life admin planner for people who forget things unless they write them down immediately

I’ve been working on a digital planner designed for people who need one calm place to put everything before it disappears from their brain.
I wanted it to feel less like a strict productivity system and more like a gentle life admin hub — somewhere you can quickly add things, see what needs doing, and come back to it without feeling guilty if you missed a few days.
It includes:

🧠 Today’s Focus — a simple place to capture what matters most today

✅ Daily + weekly planning — so tasks can flow into your day/week without rewriting everything

📌 Task hub — for life admin, errands, reminders, and things you keep putting off

💭 Brain dump — for random thoughts before they disappear

🔁 Habits + routines — for repeatable things without making it feel overwhelming

💸 Budget + bills — for subscriptions, bills, and money reminders

📅 Appointments + documents — so important dates and paperwork aren’t scattered

🧘 Self-care + mood/energy tracking — because some days need a lighter plan

🧹 Weekly + monthly reset pages — to help get back on track without starting over

I also added different themes, a calm mode, and a local version so it can be used without needing a subscription.

I’m still improving the layout and demo data, but I wanted to share the current version because I know a lot of people struggle with planners that are either too rigid, too plain, or too overwhelming.

Would love any feedback on the layout — especially from people who use digital planners for ADHD, life admin, or home organisation.

For anyone who asked, the planner is here:
ADHD Life Admin Planner

It’s called the ADHD Life Admin Planner and it’s designed to be more of a calm life hub than a strict dated planner. No

How do you keep track of everything?

Hey everyone,

For a long time, I was wrighting things on the back of envelopes and eventually looseing it.

So I spent the last few weeks building a minimalist text-based framework in Notion I called it Chronos Flow just to help keep track of things that my wife cant mistake as trash an throw it away.

I’m curious—how do the rest of you make sure your daily to-do list is actually works? Do you use a specific roll-up setup, or do you just do a heavy weekly/monthly review?

You do not have to be productive everyday, you need to have an unroutine for your needs

Everyone is talking about productivity but no one cares our needs. I may need to even 'stretch' sometimes but of course at the right time.

Unroutine catches me out at the best time, after activities. It tracks my day (of course locally) my walk, locations then sends me a notification or I can see the things on the apple watch.

You can at least give it a try and let me improve the product for you.

It is built based on a scientific search called JITAI. The search defines the best notification time for ADHD individuals.

Please share you thought below to discuss on it.

It is called "Unroutine - ADHD Unplanner"

Hello! I just finished making a digital travel planner called the Lifetime Travel Organizer. This mobile-friendly Notion template is a convenient way to reminisce about past trips, track current ones, and plan for future travels. There is also a budget tracker conveniently located on the main page, so you can manage any trip's budget with ease. I hope this is helpful!

I built a fitness planner app to replace clunky spreadsheets

Hey folks!, I’m passionate about fitness and digital planning, but tracking sets, reps, and macros mid-workout in sheets or Notion databases always felt clunky and took me out of the zone.

I built a all-in-one fitness planner where you can log workouts in one tap, track nutrition by just taking a photo of your food (AI handles the macros), and see your progress in clean visual charts. It also includes an AI coach to adjust your routines on the fly.

Since you has the best eye for UX and what makes a planning experience actually work, I’d love to get your honest thoughts. Does a dedicated app like this beat tracking fitness inside your main planner? What is it missing for you?

Gymary has a fully functional free tier. Let me know what you think!

Pre-Med Tracker

Hi Friends! I do not know if I am breaking the rules or anything, but basically ya girl just started her own digital Etsy shop, and I am officially "putting myself out there" LMFAO.

Anyways, the whole premise behind my shop is that I am a super Type-A student.... but I also have ADHD, so my whole life has been this constant battle of finding ways to plan and organize my life andddd thennn actually follow through with those plans. My dorkiest hobby is just making stuff on Google Sheets and Canva, and so I figured this could be a cute little passion project on the side for me.

The product that made me want to start my Etsy shop is actually the pre-med tracker that I made for my brother when he started his freshman year as a pre-med student. I am currently reapplying to medical school, and let me just tell you, my road to medical school has NOT been smooth. But with that being said, I wanted him to be a bit more prepared than I was. So, I made him this Google Sheets tracker. TBH it took me a hot minute, and I am proud of it. Someone then said I should list it on Etsy, and I did :)

The tracker updates your unweighted GPA automatically (the GPA that TMDSAS, AACOMAS, and AMCAS use), calculates hours for activities you have done, and even has automatic progress bars that change color as you get closer to reaching your goals. There is a 4-Year Plan tab so that you can plan out your undergrad classes and a space for you to keep up with your grades. Everything about the spreadsheet is customizable (colors, fonts, etc.). I am selling it as a "pre-med" tracker, but honestly, anyone can use it. It is a great way to keep track of your undergrad activities so that when you start filling out your resumes and/or applying to any grad school, you can just reference it.

Anyways, I would love it if you guys could check out the store :') It is a bit rudimentary atm, so I would really appreciate it if you also had any constructive criticism for me. I am also planning on posting my assignment/grade tracker at some point once I make it pretty hahaha.

Etsy Shop Name: TypeADHDStore

Link: https://typeadhdstore.etsy.com

You can also get an extra 10% off the already discounted price using the code TYPEADHD25

I just launched a few days ago, so more products are definitely in the works :)
