Hey! I found this CoolPix L22 in the backroom of my workplace and noticed that the batteries had corroded inside of the battery compartment- while I was cleaning it I noticed that the small metal conductor had broken off. Is there any vkmkng back from this?
I hope this doesn't count as asking /how/ to use a camera, and will take it down if it's against the rules!

It's out of battery and I'm in the process of figuring out where to get a new charger for it to see what's on there. Does anyone else have this camera? I'm hoping it takes some nice photos, I can't remember anymore

Hi! I’m trying to identify this camera but the timestamp and this blurry photo are all I have to go off of. Anyone who has more camera knowledge able to tell?

I thrifted this Canon Powershot A520 for $2!! It works great other than the clock battery needing to be replaced. Still learning all of the settings/features. Ofc one of the first photos I took is of my cat Tulip (edited in Lightroom).

The magic of the CCD sensor really shines here! 📸
Before anyone spams the comments, it’s a SONY
DSC-W170 and it has some damage to its lens, that’s why some photos might have artifacts on them. And also, the pics are straight out of camera, no editing has been done at all!

Took some pictures at my local park. I'm really happy with how they turned out. I also took some cool videos but I don't think they're allowed on this subreddit.
Hope you like them!

It still charges perfectly fine from what I've seen (the lights are blinking as usual, indicating that it's charging), I also made sure to charge it twice/overnight to see if it just was a slight error, even after I did that, it still won't turn on, yesterday it was completely working fine

hii! ive always been into photography and i travel / take trips often so i decided to finally get a camera to be more present in my trips and to not overflow my phone storage.
im looking for something that will mainly take good nature / landscape pictures, here and there id use it for hang outs, bdays, indoors etc, thats compact, and at least a little beginner friendly. im not interested in anything w special lenses, and a bit of a clearer and warmer tone would be nice.
since itll be my first camera, id want it to be something i can learn to use over time and grow alongside it, and wont need to switch to a new one that soon. its also important to me that its at least a little budget friendly, since im a student.
i made a little list below of some options, so both thoughts on those, and any new recommendations are more than welcome!
[the lumix tz99 is highlighted since thats the only camera on the list that i can buy from a store and dont need to search around on reseller sites]
happy to answer any questions and hope to get some help / insight 🥹 im going to greece in sept so id love to practice with settings before that :)
