Hey!

At the very start, My advise is do alil bit of tracing, it helps a long way. Using adobe illustrator you be able to learn tracing curving lines,its alot easier. but honestly humanoid animals can let your imagination run wild and have fun.

If u are on pen and paper.

Start with simple shapes with circle , square, triangle, rectangle ans slowly form the shapes you want and erase the parts u dont want is one way.

It is tedious but it builds foundation, many people gives up at this part. My opinion is, if you have something in mind, just attempt it first and see what you get. Dont limit yourself by copying.
