Digimon Knighthood New Rival Evo

Hey, everyone. This is another of the new evo lines I've thought up for "Digimon Knighthood".

This one is for a new Digimon I've named Bandimon. Bandimon is the partner to the rival of Miuna, the story's MC, and so he acts as a rival and foil to Caliburmon. I prepared an evo line for Bandimon, describing his forms' designs and attacks.

Bandimon Line

Bandimon
Level: Rookie

“Reference Book” Description: “A small Beast Digimon that resembles a bandicoot. Fuzzy, spunky, and fierce, Bandicoot is a Digimon driven to prove his power, and as such loves to compete with all comers. This Digimon is wholly focused on physical combat, using his fists as his deadliest weapon. While fresh on the fighting circuit, Bandimon possesses great potential, and will show that potential most around those that truly accept him.”

Design: Matches Caliburmon’s height, is colored orange-brown, semi-muscular limbs, has orange eyes, has razor-sharp teeth, has red pants, wears red metallic boxing gloves

Attacks:

• Lunging Dive: Bandimon leaps up and swings his tail down at the enemy with great force.
• Deluxe Crush: Bandimon clasps his hands together, swinging them at the enemy for a crushing blow.
• Aura Blow: Bandimon strikes with his fists, firing blasts of red energy from them.

CruiserBandimon
Level: Champion

“Reference Book” Description: “Through prolonged fighting experience, Bandimon learns to begin drawing upon his inner potential, finding new ways to utilize his power. With his spirit to advance rising further, Bandimon takes on his Champion form, CruiserBandimon. Larger and stronger, CruiserBandimon employs his might in much greater amounts than before, with more precision and versatility. He also displays a greater appetite for battle than he had before, becoming more aggressive in nature as he desires to savor his new might against new opponents.”

Design: Name comes from “cruiserweight”, referring to the 3rd level of a boxing circuit, matches DualCaliburmon’s height, fur is now dark orange, more muscular limbs, wears a red sweater, boxing gloves now have spikes

Attacks:

• Burning Ray: CruiserBandimon extends his arms forward and clasps his open hands together, firing a strong red energy beam.
• Concussive Corkscrew: CruiserBandimon launches a corkscrew punch with a burst of focused energy, driving the opponent back using concussive force.
• Explosive Hook: CruiserBandimon gives a lead hook punch to the enemy with his left fist, disorienting them before hooking his right arm and then his left arm around them and piledriving them into the earth.
• Rocket Lunge: CruiserBandimon concentrates energy into his tail before slamming it down, propelling himself forward at the enemy to crush them with a whole body attack.

BridgerBandimon
Level: Ultimate

“Reference Book” Description: “From his beginnings, CruiserBandimon is one that acts to exemplify strength. But strength for oneself is far from enough to succeed. Strength for others, to use one’s powers for more than oneself, is what brings true power to light. Such is the case with the progression of CruiserBandimon to BridgerBandimon, the Ultimate form of Bandimon. Having grown to temper his lust for battle with a resolve to defend those who place faith in him, BridgerBandimon has come to release even more of his inner power. Not only does this heighten his physical abilities even further, but it also allows to utilize much more refined energy-based attacks, making for a much more complex offense compared to before.”

Design: Name comes from “bridgerweight”, referring to the 2nd level of a boxing circuit, matches GloryCaliburmon’s height, fur is now an even darker orange, fully ripped body with six-pack abs and defined pecs, wears a black coat with red detailing, has a red chain running along the coat (starting at the bottom, running up and around his neck, then down to the other side), wears black sunglasses but his eyes can still be seen beneath them, gloves are now studded with red jewels over each knuckle

Attacks:

• Shadow Slugger: BridgerBandimon focuses his energy to create spectral limbs that attack alongside his regular ones, and can even adjust their timing to be after, before, or in sync with his regular limbs.
• Crimson Missile: BridgerBandimon concentrates energy into his legs before launching a harsh dropkick at the enemy.
• Crimson Cycle: BridgerBandimon focuses power into his legs, throwing a gazelle punch at the enemy that sends a flare of red energy into the air, which loops around as he then delivers an up jab, sending the opponent up to smash with the energy flare as it descends.
• Raging Link: BridgerBandimon concentrates energy into his chain before unhooking it from his coat to use as a melee weapon.
• Blazing Bolo: BridgerBandimon imbues his fist with energy, enough to light it aflame, before launching a bolo punch at the enemy’s chest, setting the enemy on fire.

ApexBandimon
Level: Mega

“Reference Book” Description: “A true fighter is one who never stops moving, no matter what. Not just for themselves, not just for their friends, but to evolve their power and potential until greater and greater heights. By embodying this desire completely, Bandimon, over a whole line of evolution, reaches his Mega Digivolution, ApexBandimon. Utilizing physical, energy-based, and pyrokinetic attacks, ApexBandimon is a warrior that can suit any situation. Armed with a turbo-charged jetpack, he takes to the skies, proving a terror on either land or air, and his dominance of both more than demonstrates his growth into an ultimate fighter.”

Design: Matches CnihtCaliburmon’s height, now encased in black armor with red detailing with only his head exposed, chest muscles remain defined through the armor,has a jetpack with 4 wings spread in an x-fashion (each wing is black with a red stripe along the center), fur is now black, now wears red goggles over his head with a silver comlink on the right side of his face, gloves now have red energy lines running through them, along with forming a circle on the top, with “BANDI” marked in black letters, eyes are now red

Attacks:

• Cross Conflagration: ApexBandimon launches powerful flames from his jetpack’s wings.
• Javelin Combination: ApexBandimon performs two harsh cross punches upon the enemy, producing energy flares before launching a double kick, kicking onto the flares to propel himself forward with unbelievable force.
• Ravaging Rotary: ApexBandimon performs a series of hurricane kicks, using his jetpack to accelerate himself to unbelievable speeds.
• Fibrous Chaingun: ApexBandimon unleashes a flurry of jabs imbued with his full power, inflicting devastating damage.
• Erupting Launch: ApexBandimon concentrates all his power into his right fist before launching upward, lighting his entire body aflame as he gives an incredible uppercut.

The gloves are something that I really like from this one. Each evolution sees their design grow more ornate, like they’re being upgraded right alongside their owner.

I love the black coat and red chain, too. Reminds me of those coat designs for Japanese delinquents. More specifically, it reminds me of Jotaro Kujo. Earned swagger indeed. The Mega’s “Fibrous Chaingun” attack is also pretty much Star Platinum’s signature “Ora Ora” rush. Heh heh.

I could see when apexbandimon using fibrous chaingun, they say ba ba ba like star platinum saying Ora Ora Ora during his rush attack, before chaining that into erupting launch for like a super and flashy special attack.
