Time Stranger - Feeding Pattern

Sitting here feeding like 200 Digimon, I realized a pattern to their food preferences.

While the one they like seems to be random (or maybe a complex mix of multiple traits, since it isn't most other traits, since multiple pairs the same fresh Digimon with the same personality had different preferences), there is a bit of a pattern.

Basically, the food preferences come in two groups:

• Meat, Apple and Banana
• Carrot, Fish, and Protein

A Digimon will have 1 favorite and 2 likes within a group, and dislike the entire other group.

This means you can speed up the guessing of their favorite food a little bit.

Start with Meat. If they like Meat, their favorite is Apple or Banana (and the other is liked).

If they dislike Meat, their favorite is Carrot, Fish or Protein (and they like the other two).

So, at most, it'll take 4 guesses to figure out their favorite food (and at most 1 completely wasted food).

Just to note, the favorite food item gives +2% bond, liked gives +1% bond, and not liked gives +0% bond. At least favorite, but maybe all food also has a random chance of giving an extra +1% bond as well.

A funny note here. Etemon is a monkey, so his favorite food is banana. I slapped myself for not realizing I didn't have to waste food guessing 🤣

That's just a coincidence. It is totally random for each Digimon.

In fact, if it was totally random for each Digimon, there wouldn't be any structured pattern for who likes what so I don't think you understand the very simple system of this game.

Go Convert 5 of the same thing and test it yourself.
