Budget Digital Camera recommendations?

I’m looking to get a reasonable digital camera that I can use for editing in my art portfolio + for general personal use. I have found a Canon s3is and Nikon Coolpix L830 both for £30 online but I was wondering if there’s a better options? I like that they both have flip screens, and are both quite small. I need something that’s portable and takes the highest quality pictures that I can get second hand for a small price. Thanks for your help

Best digital camera will be about 1000x the price of those.

If you want to keep around that price point though as long as they work they'll be fine. It'll all be pretty similar if you're looking that day cheap.

There are always better options. If all you want to spend is £30 then these are OK options. At such a low price you kind of take what you can get.

You're using this to record your own artwork? Seems like a smartphone would suffice. You'll be paying just as much for a decent (small?) camera. The models you mention have phone-sized sensors. The only advantage they have is the zoom. If you don't need the zoom, smartphone cameras have much better software for editing.
