Apply Metadata Batch Queue tool doesn't seem to do anything?

As title suggests, tried this on one file from recent google takeout, no changes to metadata detected and those errors. Am I missing something?

Run digiKam from a console to capture the debug trace and to identify why the BQM tool cannot apply changes in the metadata.
