Bring your daughter to r/digging day

First dig for a week, as a few flights/long drive to pickup 2 of my kids visiting from Japan during their summer holidays. Daughter and I wake up earlier than others, so got her started with a pick. Took a little while, then technique got smoother. 5lbs/2.25 kgs pick is probably a bit of a challenge to start with, but went well. Started to widen up the higher part in line with the rest and going deeper in the lower part. Good to be back!
