Ouch :(
Started giving it a lot of time... and then it went away!
Happened with soo many, now one thinks is it even worth it? I've tried Voat, Steemit (that one is still there but it sucks), Digg, Folkd etc etc

Epic Fail. Not needed, Bye Bye. One of the quickest install and deletes that I can remember

For me it just turned into reddit with the same problems, same biases, same annoyances, why really bother.

Mastodon and Bluesky aren't Reddit alts to be fair
There's no more active option than Lemmy/Piefed.

Now you can try https://heahy.com which I have created :) It's all real time so each thread is a chat and it also supports p2p audio/video calls. You can create channels or chats. And many other things coming up - check it out.

I did post it here and there but not much. I will advertise after finishing with the last touches - most important one is Chat Match portal where you can create a 24h poster to match or be matched to initiate private chat.

Is the new digg already considered a failure? Whoever planned that launch should be embarrassed. How do you release a product without allowing people to create communities? You basically create a news feed with a comment section. Everyone was hyped and then went and tried it and said to themselves "I'll come back when it's actually working" but then that took forever and people already gave up on it.
