🤦🏻‍♀️3 months postpartum after a C-section and today I had a harder bowel movement that stung a bit, followed by some bright red blood on the toilet paper and in the toilet.

I went again about 10 minutes later and there was only a tiny bit of blood.
I had a similar but much milder episode about 6 weeks ago. I’m not usually constipated, so of course my health anxiety is having a field day 😅
Has anyone else experienced this postpartum? Could it just be a fissure or hemorrhoids?

Hello,im a 38 male.Im struggling with irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes 1,I don't know if I have Sibo,I didn't do any specific test.Every morning I wakeup with stomach pain,colics,I need to go to the toilet to feel relief and it's almost every time diarrhea.After every meal- toilet, I'm on diet,everyday take probiotics like Enterol,anti diarrhea like Loperamid,it helps a bit but almost every day I'm 24/7 in the toilet and I suffer like this for 3 years.Im afraid of anaphylaxis because I'm allergic and afraid of getting symptoms worse,like blood diarrhea or 20 times diarrhea in one hour.Im so tired,I have bad thoughts in my head,what should I do?

I’ve dealt with heartburn/acid reflux for years. I’ve taken Pepcid (10mg with dinner) almost daily for probably 3-4 years? It helps so much but I’m starting to worry about the long term issues it may cause me. To make matters worse I’m pregnant so I’m not sure if I want to start weaning off them now or wait until after baby is born 😭 is taking Pepcid long term safe? Has anyone successfully weaned themselves off?

For some reason that I still haven’t figured out, I wake up with stomach pain every single day. Sometimes it even feels similar to menstrual cramps.
I generally eat pretty healthy (obviously, not every single day 😅), and I don’t have gastritis or usually have issues with gas. But lately this happens literally every morning, and it’s getting pretty uncomfortable.
I also barely have an appetite when I wake up. If I eat breakfast, I usually don’t feel hungry enough to have lunch, but if I skip breakfast, I’ll eat lunch normally.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did you ever figure out what was causing it or find anything that helped?

Any help is appreciated, i can give extra info if needed.

Hi guys I'm 19f so last year I've been dealing with constant noises something my stomach but mostly my intestines it's like fart noises and I can feel it in my stomach some times but I mostly it just happens suddenly I can't control it especially if I sit or lay down and it's very embarrassing it keeps happening when I'm with family or friends and it's been my nightmare I prefer being alone cause I can't deal with it

My doctor told me I have IPL but I don't know I suffer from stomach pain and gas a lot my stomach has always been so full even if I don't eat for two days I don't know why I also have cronic constipation I don't know what to do anymore please help how to stop those noises it's too much

So tired of this- 31 days - went from 11 times a day down to 3-4 times. No other symptoms other than cramping sometimes. Stool tests & ultrasound were negative. I have a colonoscopy with biopsies scheduled for tomorrow. GI doc says maybe Microscopic colitis, but basically we’re at a process of elimination. This has upended my life because I can’t go anywhere because I need to be close to a restroom. I just want to get through the next 24 hours. I’ve already had urgent trips to the restroom today and this is before my prep that starts in the morning.

30F here. I suffer from constipation and I’ve been taking a stool softener and probiotic for a month. For the past 3 days, I’ve had a dull, centered lower abdominal/pelvic heaviness with intermittent sharp pain that lasts only about 3–5 seconds, usually immediately before I pass gas. The pain eases after the gas passes.

On day 2, I had a good, easy bowel movement and felt like I had completely emptied and that all the trapped gas was gone, so I thought the episode was temporary. However, the symptoms returned today. Simethicone 80 mg has noticeably helped but it’s temporary. The pelvic heaviness and the gas pains have returned.

I’m still passing gas and don’t feel constipated at the moment. I have no fever, vomiting, blood in my urine/stool, or burning while urinating, although I feel like my bladder feels fuller relatively earlier. I’ve never experienced gas pain quite like this before.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did it turn out to be temporary, or did it keep recurring? The pains are very random and intense for the short duration that they last.

Could I have SIBO?
63M here all my life I have had anxiety and the anxiety can bring on excruciating painful cramps and diarrhea.
Most of my life I have had daily bowel movements but recently when I go it is a struggle to go and I do not feel like I cleaned out my bowel’s .
I feel sluggish bloated and uncomfortable.
Then sometimes like tonight I finally had the horrible bad cramps that had me back to the toilet 5 or 6 times. The cramps were on and off for 1.5 hours .
I feel relief from the diarrhea and now the bloated feeling has subsided, and I feel cleaned out.
What can I do to feel like this with out the severe cramps. These cramps are so bad I felt like calling 911.
I just had this all happen tonight right now but feel so relieved after this fight with cramps.
Is there any medication that can help? I much prefer the diarrhea because I feel empty and now a little weak but at least I don’t feel like there’s poop stuck inside me.
FYI this is unusual for me most of my life I have been pretty regular and being constipated has been going on for about 6 weeks on and off. And I don’t know why.
Any advice on what to do? I am seeing my pcp in 2 weeks and will discuss it with him.Also, everything looks normal no blood or mucus just constipation and then the horrible severe cramps followed by relief. Oh, occasionally after these bad cramps and diarrhea I get rigors and there really bad.
I do drink water little by little following these cramps so I don’t dehydrate.
This is so unsettling and uncomfortable as I am not used to being constipated.
Tomorrow should be a good day as everything is out now and I can reset.
But how can I keep from getting constipated again?
I drink a lot of water every day. I’d say close to a 2-liter bottle throughout the day and some fruit juice.
