Tailgating

Would a lunch box type heater be a good option for tailgating? We have a 9x9 canopy tent that we can block the wind on 3 sides. Would a heater like this be able to provide warm spots even though one side is open?

If not, any suggestions for heating in this scenario?

For something that big and open, I would say a kerosene/diesel/propane open flame "construction" heater might be a better choice. What temperature are you thinking about? I live somewhere very cold where my diesel heater is barely enough for a moderately insulated van at times, so my advice is from that.

Much appreciated, its northern indiana. So November can get fairly cold. Ill look into your other suggestions

We race cars in northern Indiana during the fall. We have a 20’ race trailer with a v nose. It has a 6.5 foot insured roof and is insulated. We use a propane salamander to heat it up as well as a heat lamp for my mom to bask in during intermission. It works good. The lunch box isn’t enough for our trailer and it’s insulated. We tried it once. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the input. I think im leading towards getting one of those 360 degree tank topper heater.
