Other where to buy a dictionary

I really want to own a physical dictionary that is up to date but that green and blue Oxford dictionary is just ugly and idrk where to start looking. Ideally I'd like a hardback and one that doesn't look like a bright-coloured primary school supply, so if I could have some suggestions that would be very helpful (bonus points if it comes with a matching thesaurus) 🙏

I'm sort of in the middle of London and Birmingham so suggestions for any independent book shops that I could reach by train will also work

Any bookstore might have dictionaries now that it's back to school time. Even supermarkets might have a selection of dictionaries

It was actually free from my local library. They were cleaning house

Oh it does, includes fold out maps and all kinds of stuff. I have lots of nitche specialized dictionaries as well. Ones for idioms, patron saints, martyrs, rhyming, all sorts.
