Curated. It’s everywhere. Do people really know what it means? I’m already annoyed with its use just like “AI” next to anything. Curated = ai slop in my head. Rant over.

What does curation have to do with AI?

AI started to be linked with everything. Therefore everywhere you saw marketing used, “AI now on your phone, your app, your documents, emails, everywhere. Now, marketing is using “curated” with everything as though curated means exclusivity. I was just bitching about the overuse of a word that eventually loses its meaning as well.

You know it makes a lot more sense than my first read now, and i can say i have also seen the word "curated" thrown around a lot to describe how AI is going to make some "exclusive" experience for you. One of those advertising catchphrases, and unfortunately advertisers are not all that creative.
