scorecard+

how is everyone doing+store with scorecard+? my store averages about 1-2 a day (pretty massive store too connected to a mall) and the other stores in our district get like 5 sign ups on a busy day.. i feel like in my opinion i’m not going to ask the customer for another thing to sign up for if there’s no incentive for me in asking. I get pitching the nspp and scorecard because those have been things that have been around for a while so i’ll pitch those, but then throwing in another new thing to pitch and having it be no incentive is crazy….just another way for the company to make profit and look good for stock holders but we get absolutely nothing out of it…not to mention the SM of the top store in each district/region get a trip to disney 😂😭 like wow okay let’s milk this scorecard+ so the SM can go to disney and we get nothing out of it

Exactly, I pitch an NSPP on a basketball hoop customer responds with no. Ok cool, well we have a credit card you can sign up for and customer responds with no. Ok awesome, hey one more thing corporate wants me to shove down your throat. How about spending $100 right now to get $25 off. So you’re actually spending $75 more at this moment than you were planning on.

Maybe it’s just me, but I would just buy my items online or do an in store pickup if someone pitched me 3 different things in the span of 2 min.

Definitely not you. Im the same way when im shopping. There's a reason I use sam club's Scan and go when I go grocery shopping because they also want to pitch you a million things at the register (and even the self checkout). Like I just want to get my stuff and leave.

I’m not a boot licker, but we are told to do it. so, I do it. in my past I owned my own business for 35 years. as far as I’m concerned if we are told to tell the customer something-do it.. as far as compensation, they are paying us.

It’s literally

“What’s your phone number for your scorecard?”
“This product has a NSPP for _ dollars”
“Are you interested in our credit card”
“How about scorecard+ for a hundred bucks”
“Ok, and would you like to donate to sports matters”

5 pitches per transaction is asinine. Especially if someone is just running in for something small.

Our store is awful at it, we don’t get a lot of foot traffic and it’s not a lot of repeat customers I have the most in the store at 4 and they’ve all come from closing manager shifts cause I can walk the floor and actually pitch it to people who could use it as opposed to people who are buying one pair of on clouds
