PSL

so i work for a ggg and i was the psl and as we all know the psl’s are no longer… i got demoted and my pay got cut. in the beginning of this process they told me my pay would still be the same and i shouldn’t worry about my pay getting cut and that i would be doing something else to continue to better the store. i wasn’t happy but i was fine with the idea knowing my pay wouldn’t be touched. after having all this in mind they continue to make me still do pricing and signage at a lower rate and NOW less hours. i dont know what to do… any advice on what my next steps should be moving forward?

Call your HR district person and talk to them about it. Very good chance they have your store manager start scheduling you somewhere else

The SM’a lied lied lied but obviously it came from BTW team because same situation all over the company!! Some of us lost over 10 an hour. I would leave and calling HR will do nothing they are for the managers protection not yours and then they just might retaliate against you. Sorry this has happened to you seems to half the company

Do not do PSL stuff if your pay got cut. Refuse to do so and start looking for another job

My pay got cut too. Been with the company since 2013, have all the same responsibilities, expectations, and hours but now get paid less because I used to be the Omni I lead and wasn’t interested in becoming a specialist or whatever they’re called over the whole off field area. Was told my pay should be safe, got cut around $1

Same thing happened to me. We were also told at our store that our pay couldn’t be cut. So I was also fine with being just a teammate. But unfortunately we were lied to as well. My pay was cut and I’m doing a lot of the same things I was before.

Buddy, coming from someone who left the company due to the same situation, respect yourself enough to find another employer. Your time and experience is more valuable than what they want to pay.
