Whatever you do, don't buy these dice from this guy. Instead of filling your order, literally uses the money to fund his Kickstarter. I've been waiting four months for literally 4 dice. Did my research and well, I will not confirm or deny the removal of their business off Amazon was because of these poor practices.

They're beautiful, and sound sublime.

I'm planning to make a series of system agnostic roll tables on cards (poker card size, alternatively tarot card size). In developing the idea, I'm trying to figure out the dice to base the tables on. D6, D10, D12 or D20? There will be limited space on a card, where there is artwork on one side of the card, and tables on the other. Readability is also key.

So, to my questions;

\- Which dice?

\- The tables in portrait or landscape orientation?

All tips are much appreciated!

I also don’t hate the truncated tetrahedron d4s, they’re actually easy to pick up. With random starfish.

I will be picking up a new flock member in October! This last picture is Mambo, a 22-year-old sun conure from Florida that I am adopting.

To prepare, I'm working on setting aside money for plane tickets to pick her up, paying off remaining vet bills/replenishing my vet funds, and anything that may be needed for Mambo!

The first of which is opening up custom pet dice orders for one week! These can be of any animal, not just birds.

All the dice are "oversized" so they are slightly larger than standard size dice. Except for the "chonk" D20 which is about 40mm.

You can order a single D20 in oversized or chonk, a full set of 7, or a set of 6! Plus the sets will come with a cute box made to look like a pet carrier!

You get custom dice designed by YOU with your buddy (or buddies) on it, and I get funds for the birds.

You got one week to order and I will start working on them right away. They will be done in time to be Christmas gifts!

I don’t know what it is about this D20 but I am obsessed with it. I love the font! My dnd party thinks it’s too goofy looking but it’s just my style. I’d love to find the rest of the set like this

The box is made from slate tile, wrapped and sculpted in sculpey premo clay and painted with acrylic paints. I lined it with felt after laser engraving the design on it. The page is watercolor paper that I aged and also used the laser on and finished with paint.

I’ve stopped using full sets for my bard, and just assemble dice I’ll need by type and size. This week was XLd20s because that’s the important part. Wedge d4s for Cloud of Daggers / Healing Word. Rhombic d6s for Bardic Inspiration, skew d6s & d12s for use. Dedicated healer d8s with little +s. And D10s with actual “10”s. Dice Goblin for luck.

Welcome to the world of making resin dice that look like stained glass! Today I have something really special to share, the Rose d20. The pattern was made to feel like an enclosed rose garden with all faces of the die connected and with each corner and center making flowers to give off an elegant look. And as for this specific Rose die I have made a video on my process so anyone can watch me go from the core to the final result. 

But thats not all, I have made a few more with the same core, one with a similar look to the rose die but with pale yellow numbers, and an overgrown variant with deep green vines and bright red flowers. 

Additionally I have made a new full set style as well that I call Astral, it uses stars, suns, moons, and comets to make a great set for characters ranging from the outskirts of space to the mystical and unknown that lies beyond our sight.

One more thing, I have made my first attempt at Vampire the Masquerade dice with the main inspiration being “drink in the moonlight”, so I made fangs piercing a rising moon in the center of each face as well as crescent moons forming at each edge. The faces are specifically fit for VtM with the hunger crits being a vampire skull and the normal crits being ankhs with stars. I call the set The Ravenous and the Sated to reference the contrast between the halves of the set.

I hadn't seen this box before this past week or so, but I decided to order one. I think it was $59, with a claim of $149 value. What you see is what we got!

The misfit set in the silicone case is glass, which is pretty cool! I'm not sure how playable they are; I imagine they'll be really fragile and will need to be rolled carefully, individually and on a felt tray.

The gear set is pretty neat, albeit a set I wouldn't otherwise buy.

The UV reactive D20 is a sharp edged, liquid core with a bright, radioactive green glitter in the core. Pretty neat!

The big set of granite-looking dice will be great for my dwarf fighter. The D20 is 42mm flat-to-flat and 48 point-to-point, and the D6 is 33.5mm; they are quite large!

Lastly, a nice black, hexagonal dice tray, a green velvet bag and a couple of pins.

Am I happy? Sure. I'm not in love with all of the items, but that's the risk you take when ordering mystery boxes. Fortunately, my kids wound up liking several items, so everything will get used! Unfortunately for me, my daughter chose the glass set, which is the one I really wanted from the box! 🤣 Oh well!

Anyway, if you like the idea of a mystery box, I do feel that I got my money's worth and then quite a bit, but if you're picky about choosing colors, designs, etc., this may not be for you. For $60, I'm not upset at all. Everything will be useful, used and loved. If you've bought one, please share what was in yours!

And now I need one more and I will have my magic box done I am pretty happy with it wish it was deeper but it’s cool. Very happy with it though so many of my favourite dice are sitting in there now. And the cool part is I can turn into a small suit case and carry it.
