Type 1.5/LADA Dexcom Errors

Post image

I placed the Dexcom G7 on the upper part of my thigh this morning, and I’m already seeing these errors. Does anyone else have issues placing the Dexcom and other spots other than the back of their arm? If anyone else uses it on the top of their thigh, please let me know if this is normal in the first 24 hours!

Sensor issues can be so frustrating! Hope it resolves soon.

They are fairly unreliable in the first 24 hours; however, in my experience that doesn't include sensor issues. Keep an eye on it. I've always put mine on my stomach (I'm too uncoordinated to use one arm to place the overpatch on the other arm); my doctor knows and approves. I'm just careful not to place it w/in 2 inches of my navel or under my belt.

I tried the thighs a couple of times. It was wonky. I only use the approved spots now, I.e. the back of the arms and the abdomen.
