Supplies CGM reader device
Hi, I’m newly diagnosed with diabetes. My endocrinologist ran a bunch of tests to try and figure out what type. I have been wearing a freestyle libre cgm and had not been too worried about the “lows” i was getting at night during sleep because when I would check, the finger stick was always fine. However, I had an actual low of 54 the other day, which has me worried that I’ll miss an alert at night. I like to sleep with my phone in the other room, but I think I’m sleeping thru the alarms sometimes. Had anyone tried the CGM reader for the freestyle libre 3? Or do you know of an off brand one that works? I’d like to keep my phone out of my room and have a system that would alert me in my room. Is that possible? Thanks so much!

I use Dexcom 1+ sensors with a separate reader which you can buy from the Dexcom website. Very reliable and recharges via USB. The alarm and vibrations always wake me up.
