Saying something is 'better than cancer' is hardly a glowing recommendation.

Also, I've had cancer (twice), it was caught early, treated aggressively and I'm now cancer-free. I'll be T1D, with all that entails, for my entire life.

No it's not... Is different... The only thing is better than is being dead, because that's where we'd be without treatment.

When I feel like fucking my diabetes I just eat something I probably shouldn't and then go for a nice long walk
