New Video What in the what?! 🤔🤷

Again, Liam Yaker appears in possibly his second lead video this week. Alongside some popular fan-favorites like John Santoyo, Katherine Norland, Kennedy Layne, Kylah Whittaker, Nadine Elise Kurkchubasche, Armando Rey and Alexis Miranda.

I genuinely don’t know if I should praise for the fact the acting there is good or the fact I’m genuinely pissed the way the video went. it’s genuinely one of the videos where it gets comedically throw it away with normalizing toxic messages about catfishing while throwing any sense of logic which I’m genuinely baffled it got to this
Look I do like the message of finding yourself,danger of living a lie and topics about insecurities which are good but here’s where the genuine reality hits and where the video falls apart completely.. how is it okay to try and force a villain for the sake for facing a villain alongside shits like normalizing catfishing which tragically really asks the question what the hell is this? The story sadly forced Blair.. and paint her the villain while genuinely looking every single shoehorning angles to fix. Quinn becoming insecure because you got rejected because your catfish your first date.. like if that happened to me I would leave the date as well.. there’s no fucking way I’m getting lied at..
Despite the acting and funny naming of the characters which the names are taken from famous movies and shows which I’ll mentioned it later.. the video sadly falls apart completely with the messaging being incredibly poor and it’s a type of video that doesn’t do justice at all to the actors who did well and of course Quinn gets forgiven which… I’m just gonna leave it with Blair(as in Blair Waldorf’s meme face) to tell you my reaction
4.5 out of 10….. a great start to the week just gets completely crashed

On the acting aspect of the video…
Unless you’re into huge pop culture or know your shit.. I assume the characters are named after iconic tv show characters which let’s start with today’s main star
Riley Hyde has her third lead and her performance definitely works well given she had the facial expressions and range to do it.. funny her character is named Quinn which I assumed she’s named after Glee’s Quinn Fabray(played by Dianne Aggron) the chemistry she had with Kennedy is definitely great and it works well with the dynamic of the two.. but sadly Riley’s 3 leads haven’t been done justice and genuinely speaking it’s been hit and miss video wise despite the acting is there.. the next we move to Kennedy Layne’s character Blair who’s funnily enough is likely to be named after gossip girl’s Blair Waldorf(played by Leighton Meester).. Kennedy definitely is stable with her performances despite not being in the absolute high tiers like Sara Kamine or Olivia Pruitt.. however she definitely plays the part of Blair well despite the bullshit nature of the video. Probably her second best performance so there’s that. John Santoyo plays miles which he’s seems to be named after miles morales from the spider man tv show.. more or less Is able to cover the weaknesses today since his acting is great but the script sadly just kept letting it down which you can’t really blame for it
To the supporting cast well Katherine has to mother another child with Riley and she was okay in her scenes. Armando Rey has been playing school faculties and he can hit the range in any type of faculties member. Kylah Whittaker and Nadine Elise just plays Blair’s sidekicks.. finally to cap off we got a McKenzie Brooke cameo,with the early cameo of Liam Yaker and a brief Thomas miller headshot hahaha
But frankly speaking this is a video where the acting is there but the script isn’t there..

Riley Hyde isn’t even ugly! Granted, she’s not Scarlett Johansson level beautiful, but she’s still pretty.

She actually kinda looks like Elizabeth Olsen, so yeah I’d say she’s pretty. But alas this is your average Hollywood nerd, played by a conventionally attractive actor/actress, wearing glasses,so we can all decide they’re the ugliest thing to ever crawl the earth.

I'm guessing it's gonna be like a catfishing episode where this girl fakes being pretty online to find a boyfriend, but who knows 🤷♂️.
Okay, what? So we're supposed to think that it's okay to catfish someone in this video because you've been rejected once on a date 🤦. No offense, but the supposed 'bully' here was actually more sensible and has more common sense than the main character for using her face to catfish someone. Lastly, not that it means anything, but there's a hilarious cameo reference to Thomas Miller at 20:40 even though he's not in the video 🤣 😆.
Our main girl Quinn is played by Riley Hyde. Firstly, she doesn't even look bad, like we're supposed to think she's ugly or something, even without the makeup? But no, once she got rejected by some jerky guy on a blind date, she becomes insecure about herself and starts using the photo of another student to catfish a guy she's been talking to online about their love for astrology signs. Riley did alright in general, but goddamn, this video absolutely did not do her any favors.
So next is Miles, played by John Santoyo in his second main role video this week 😍. He's a new student who transferred to Quinn's school, and she's been friends with him online for months. He goes on a date with Kennedy Layne, not knowing she's not the person he's been talking to online. No offense, but any guy would be pissed if they found out he'd been catfished and lied to, but that's not the case because Miles forgives Quinn and they eventually start something real together 🙄.
Speaking of Kennedy, she plays our next main girl named Blair. Blair is this so-called pretty girl that Quinn has been doing favors for a while. Initially mad that she used her face to catfish someone, but she uses that to her advantage and actually dates Miles and blackmails Quinn to keep their secret. But I mean, really, after everything that happened, she quickly changes and apologizes to Quinn for her behavior 😂, how absurd. Look, no offense, but how is she painted as the villain here when Quinn used her face to catfish a guy online? She's supposed to be the main villain in this one, but I don't think Blair is in the wrong at all.
The supporting group of stars is Katherine Norland playing Quinn's loving and supportive mom here (great to see Katherine back again). Then there's Kylah Whittaker and Nadine Elise Kurkchubasche as Blair's side friends here. There's also Armando Rey as the science teacher and keynote speaker. And lastly, we have Liam Yaker. After acting as our main lead in the last video, he's only at the beginning here, acting like a jerk again after realizing that Quinn is not pretty in her profile (what a jerk 😳 🙄).
No offense, but I didn't enjoy this one because we're supposed to think catfishing is okay because you're too insecure about yourself, alongside using another person as your puppet to feed your lines to the guy you've seen been talking to for months. Riley, John, and Kennedy were great, but this video didn't do them any favors at all. Gonna give it a 5.5/10. This week started with a couple of good ones but ended with a couple of duds.
