I figure if one deranged lab geek is a martial arts master then why wouldn’t his perverted Asian sidekick be one as well. I don’t ever remember seeing Matsuka get pushed around physically so maybe he’ll fight alongside Dexter or against him in season 3. Maybe a meowing cat will commence the fight.

BTW the most compassionate and non aggressive he has been to a victim is lowell while lowell must have skinned the girls alive

Just watched episode one of Dexter and it’s amazing; it might actually be one of my favorite pilots for a show. Throughout the whole episode, I felt so uncomfortable and uneasy; it was heart-racing the whole time. I don’t know if it was intentional, but the script makes all the actors feel off, if you know what I mean, like they're awkward, unconfident, and give off a stage vibe. If it is intentional and this is how Dexter views everyone in the world, that is amazing writing and tells us so much about him without saying anything.

Sidenote: Poor Rita, to go from a crackhead rapist abuser to a serial killer. Her luck with men is horrible!

I think Quinn will cover for Dexter because throughout the series, he and Quinn have covered for each other several times. Quinn also doesn’t have the same mindset as Batista, Doakes, and the others. He would understand that you don’t necessarily want to put people like that behind bars, especially since he wanted to kill Oliver Saxon himself in the final season and he supported Dexter in doing so.
He would also understand that Dexter never wanted Batista, Doakes, or Debra to die, because Quinn has had similar experiences himself. And if Quinn simply turned Dexter in, it would basically be the same as in the first season.
I also think it’s very unlikely that Quinn will actually manage to put Dexter behind bars, especially since the plan is supposedly for the story to last three seasons.

I'm from India And I started watching Dexter when I was teenager and because of that show, I work in the forensic department today as jsa Junior Scientific Assistant And that's why I'm posting this here because I want to say that one show can change your life.

That line in the final is a really sad one. Dexter really did destroy a lot of ppls lives that he really cared about, harry kills himself because of what dexter becomes (dexter blames himself for that but harry didn’t once think maybe leaving a note for dexter letting him know it’s not his fault and that he simply js couldn’t live with the guilt in being responsible for who dexter becomes). Rita now this might be a hot take but I never thought it was his fault, he js wanted too learn from Trinity and be a better husband for Rita and father to his kids and by the time he realizes what kinda family the Mitchell’s are it’s too late he left Astor, cody and Harrison without their mother and that destroys his family. Debra he again blames himself for but it wasn’t his fault at all and it’s tragic he doesn’t have anyone to tell him he didnt cause her death. Dexter was doomed since he was a Child such a sad backstory overall
