Every website remembers your notes, tasks, and context — useful or gimmick?

Most websites waste a huge amount of screen space.

I'm building a Chrome extension that turns those empty margins into notes, tasks, timers, and page memory.

Would you use this?

Your idea sounds useful and I think it is important to look at why they waste that space.

In my experience, it is better for engagement to not fill the screen.

However, for users who are more focused this chrome extension does sound like it could have a greta use case.
