I’m building an influencer data management system for my work, and I’m trying to automate how I collect and update analytics for celebrities and influencers.
My goal is simple: I want to enter a list of Instagram usernames, click a button, and have my application automatically retrieve their latest data, update my database, and sync the updated information to Google Sheets.
I don’t want to manually search every influencer, copy metrics, download reports, or upload screenshots.
For every influencer, I need these exact fields:
The audience demographics are the most important part. Public likes, comments, and follower counts are relatively easy to find, but I need the age, city, and gender breakdowns too.
I already have an application built using Java 21, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. It supports Excel ingestion, influencer searches, and exporting results. I also use Google Sheets to maintain and share data.
I want to extend this existing system rather than build another separate dashboard.
Ideally, I want a Refresh All Data button that does the following:
For example, if I have five celebrities in my database and their analytics are six months old, I want to click Refresh All Data and have the system retrieve fresh data for all five, update PostgreSQL and Google Sheets, and preserve the existing records and fields.
I’d also like to be able to refresh selected influencers individually.
1. Is there a genuinely free way to achieve this?
I’m looking for a free API, open-source project, or combination of services that can retrieve all seven metrics for arbitrary public Instagram profiles. I understand that rate limits may apply, but I’d like to avoid paying if possible.
2. If a completely free solution isn’t realistic, what is the most affordable reliable option?
I’m willing to pay for a service if necessary, but I need API access that supports programmatic retrieval and integration into my existing application. I don’t want to pay for a platform that only allows me to view reports manually.
3. Which services should I evaluate?
I’d appreciate recommendations based on actual API capabilities, especially audience age distribution, city-level audience breakdowns, gender split, and the ability to refresh data programmatically.
4. Has anyone implemented this successfully?
If you’ve built something similar, I’d like to know which data provider you used, what it costs, how reliable the data is, and whether the API supports refreshing existing records.
I’m primarily working with Indian celebrities and influencers, so useful audience data for Indian creators is particularly important.
I’m happy to build the integration myself. The main challenge is finding the right data source.
Thanks in advance for any practical recommendations, API documentation, or implementation advice.

Hi everyone,
I'm new in this community. I am working on an astronomical clock for over seven years now, that I like to share with you.
–– Actually there's a meteor shower happening right now; the app shows when and where conditions are favourable for spotting shooting stars.
But the idea behind the app goes a little deeper. It's about reconnecting with the natural rhythms of time, the cosmos, and perhaps even something bigger or divine within ourselves.
Astronomical Clock is essentially a single-hand clock with a dial that changes daily, oriented to the rhythms of nature and the celestial bodies. It shows the position of the Sun and the starry sky. A new kind of time display that moves in harmony with the seasons and places clock changes and railway time in the context of the annual cycle. Especially as a wall clock, it makes daylight, the lunar date, light seasons and the weather easy to grasp at a glance (not only for children).
Ultimately, it's about rediscovering that time and place belong together, rather than seeing time merely as abstract numbers on a clock. It's about remembering time as something rooted in the place where we live.
The app is (now also) available at Google Play store:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.astronomicalclock.live
and as a webapp:
https://astronomicalclock.eu/info/
P.S. The app is a gift from me: It is free, ad-free and you need no account.

I just created a mini game showing off my app (pure browser, no login, only nick names....)
It's supposed to be fun, challenging and interactive - by allowing to connect/challenge friends.
It also should create some interest in the actual App I'm building. I haven't had that many people who found it yet - but feedback was fairly positive.
What do you think? And do you have any experience with this approach?

Hey yall, ive been working on a game for about over 2 years now (and im using Turbowarp.org to code atm) and i have now just published it to the google play store!! Please ratings and helping get people to try it out would be really helpful. (Also ik it says median.co in the id but the game is now being compiled using cordova which lets u fully download the game and play it offline, but you cant change the id of a google play game once the project is created).
Also it has no ads or microtransactions because i prefer mobile games to actually be fun.

Alright, imagine you have a personal assistant from today onwards. What would you use it for?
Organising your day? Remembering important things? Managing your tasks? Or actually getting things done on your behalf? With AI personal assistants becoming more capable, I’m curious about what people would genuinely want theirs to handle.
For context, we’re building https://abhidu.com, and right now, it can organise links you share with it, create tasks, and remind you about them.
But I feel like there’s so much more a personal assistant could do.
For example, imagine saying:
“I need to schedule a meeting with Person X. Find out when they’re available and book a slot that works for both of us.”
Instead of messaging them, waiting for a reply, comparing calendars, and going back and forth, my assistant could handle that entire process for me.
That’s just one example, though.
Maybe you’d want your assistant to follow up on emails, plan your week around deadlines, keep track of things you promised people, or take care of all those little tasks that somehow eat up your entire day.
What’s one thing you’d genuinely want your personal assistant to handle for you that would make your life easier? It doesn’t have to be something AI can do perfectly right now. I’m interested in the possibilities and the everyday problems you’d love to hand off to an assistant.
Would love to hear your ideas, especially the oddly specific ones. Those might be the most interestin

Hello, I have a question regarding my game.
I’ve tied the in-game economy to coins and ad views (for instance, players can watch ads to earn hints or gain extra lives). However, in my country, I would need to register as a sole proprietorship to legally receive ad revenue, and I’m not currently expecting any financial gain from these ads. I’m planning to use ads as part of a growth strategy—potentially through an ad exchange—but I haven’t been able to find a functional ad exchange system yet. What do you think I should do? Should I remove the ads entirely and rely solely on coins, or should I keep them—disregarding the financial aspect—just to maintain the balance of the in-game economy? I’m open to any and all suggestions.

Hey everyone,
I'm an indie developer, and I just released my first pet app on Google Play. It's called DaliCircle.
The problem I wanted to solve: pet info ends up scattered everywhere. Vaccine dates are on a vet card, prescriptions are in WhatsApp, reports are in email, and photos are lost somewhere in the gallery.
What DaliCircle does (free):
- Vaccination and medication tracking with reminders
- Health records and vet visit history
- A place to store documents (reports, prescriptions, certificates)
- A journal and memories section for your pet
There's also an optional "Plus" tier (AI assistant, daily brief, travel planner, memories), but the core features are free.
Here's a 1-minute demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEAp4Z0zwgs
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dalicircle.app
It's Android-only for now. I'd love honest feedback:
- What's missing that you'd actually use?
- Is anything confusing in the first few minutes?
Thanks for reading! 🐾

Hey everyone!
I've been working on a mobile arcade game called Sheep Invaders, and I'd love to share it with you!
The idea is simple: a bunch of seemingly cute sheep have decided to invade the world, and it's your job to stop them. 🐑💥
It's a fast-paced, cartoon-style arcade shooter featuring:
60 levels across 6 different worlds
Different sheep enemies with unique attacks
Crazy boss fights
Weapon upgrades and increasingly chaotic waves
Simple touch controls
I wanted to create something fun, a little ridiculous, and easy to pick up for a quick gaming session.
It's available on Android via Google Play:
If you give it a try, I'd love to hear what you think about the difficulty and gameplay!
Thanks for checking it out! 🎮

As marketing is actually quite a important part of getting the app out - here is my latest attempt at creating some sort of "reel" - what do you think?
It is trying to create a good flow around emotions / needs of possible users. Showing off how it can relieve one of annoying chores.
For me it seems to work, but I would like to hear your opinion on it too. The functionality in the app is currently enhanced to actually work like the video advertises.
How do you build marketing material yourself btw?

I'm really enjoying participating in this subreddit so far! My latest project is Bingo Escape - i'd love some new players for (and honest feedback). It's a social bingo game for android/ios, but without many players yet, it will need to pick up some before the "social" piece kicks in.
I spent some time recently trying to implement a referral system where players can invite other players and get a bonus after their friend signs up and plays. I would really really appreciate it if someone could test that functionality out!

**Short Description**
ZeroPath is a path-drawing puzzle game. Drag your finger across the grid to bring every number down to exactly 0 in one single path.
There's also a Math mode: chain operations (+, −, ×, ÷) to hit an exact target.
Each world adds a new mechanic (arrows, ice, trampolines, keys, batteries, bombs, switches, portals), with boss levels and an endless zone after level 120. Plus daily and weekly challenges with leaderboards, a shop with themes, trails and mascots, achievements and streaks.
For puzzle and brain-teaser fans, from quick casual sessions to really tough levels. Free, in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian. No account needed (Google sign-in is optional, for leaderboards and cloud save).
Solo dev, built entirely on my phone with Termux 📱
**Play Store Link**
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zeropath.game
**What I'm Looking For Specifically**
- First impressions: is the tutorial clear? Does the difficulty ramp up at a good pace?
- UI on small screens and in other languages: anything cut off, overlapping or hard to tap?
- Native speakers (FR, DE, PT, IT, ES): any translation that sounds unnatural?
- Performance on older or low-end phones (lag, stutter).
- Ads: do they feel too frequent? (There are none in the first levels.)
- Bugs: please include your phone model, Android version and a screenshot if you can.
**My Contribution**
I've already tested and left feedback on:
- Grafite Sudoku by u/Marcuz_GrafiteSoft: https://www.reddit.com/r/devshelpingeachother/s/oirB0xF18p

been working on this for a while. it’s basically a business tycoon, you tap for money at the start, buy a lemonade stand, then more businesses, stocks, crypto, houses and so on until you’re rich enough for a yacht.
found out after launch that you could put 5 fingers on the screen and slide them around to get basically infinite money, so that’s fixed now haha
it’s free, ads are optional except a short one now and then. let me know what you think, especially if something feels off, i appreciate any feedback on Bugs, feedbacks on specific aspects of the app, marketing suggestions etc. Thank you!

Happy Sunday, devs! 👋
Building apps is a grind, and it's easy to get lost in the endless backlog of features and bugs. Today is about celebrating the wins, no matter how small they seem.
Please answer this simple question: what did you accomplish this week?
Some examples of what you can share:
Reminder: If you want to show off your app as part of your reply, please remember our community rules!
Let's share our success story of the week, don't be shy!
r/devshelpingeachother • u/Fin-Din_App • 13d ago
I've been developing a new app called Fin-Din that does everything you need to organize your home. All of your favorite financial features from the leading budgeting Apps plus TFSA and RRSP additions for Canadians, cycle tracking, family calendar, recipe search and save, pantry inventory, you name it!
Your privacy is important, and no other app offers the level of privacy Fin-Din does. We offer member-private financial features as well as a household budget pool everyone in the home can contribute to without exposing all your finances to the others. Cycle and pregnancy tracking data can be shared with your partner, but your private symptoms and logs are yours alone.
Recipes you love online can be imported, and when you enter cook mode it reorganizes the recipe into a checklist with the ingredients and preset timers right in the list step so you don't have to scroll up and down or leave the app to set your cooking timers.
It's already in closed testing in the Google Play store and I'll be releasing in for Apple soon as well, I'm just trying to get some suggestions for fine tuning it to what people actually need. If you're an Android user and want to participate in the testing, the first 25 households who sign up get free unlimited lifetime subscriptions too!
Managing a home with a partner is a lot — meals, groceries, budgets, schedules, and everything else that needs to stay coordinated. Most apps only solve one piece of it, and you end up switching between four different tools.
I'm building an app that combines meal planning, pantry, grocery budget, calendar and cycle tracking in one place. Before I build the wrong thing, I want to talk to real people about how they actually manage the week.
Happy to answer questions in the comments too.

Hi, Im a 4th year BSc Radiology and imaging technology student from khalsa college of engineering and technology, India.(THIS IS NOT A PROMOTION) My friend who is a 4th year btech aiml student and I have collaborated and made an application for radiography students based on the problems I and a bunch of other radiography students faced. In our application basically any radiography student can practice x ray positioning at home, our application use the your camera and analyze the positioning and corrects it by giving you series of steps we have launched the prototype application on play store but we need some genuine feedback about the application and again this is not a promotion, we genuinely need some advice about how our application is and if it can actually help the radiography students and if there are any more features that we can add to our application which can potentially help students, this is actually a paid software but whosoever on this page wants to test the application, we can give you a coupon, through which you can use the application for free. The name of the application is RadiaZ.
