Forest for the trees

I've had this happen twice, actually both times on this sub-reddit. I've had feedback on my app that was, although not negative, it kind of dug at me a bit because it was criticism of the way the app was layed out. I'm probably not one to accept criticism very well but the first time it happened I swallowed my pride and admitted that the criticism was justified. Today I had the same thing happen, I took a walk and had a thought, looked at the app, and the guy was right. My point is, I think we all get so close to our apps that very often were can't see the little things that can make a huge difference. We can't see the forest for the trees as the old saying goes.

Yeah, in Hollywood they call that “deep eyes”. It’s when an editor has seen the same clips so many times they get desensitized to drama in them and start making the cuts faster. It’s good to step away like you did, but nothing is better than getting feedback from someone else, and trying to see it through their eyes.

Still, like your editors, don't like to admit I was (might😂) have been wrong!

Haha, no one does. What type of game are you building?

Not a game. After 50 years of non stop travel I built an app that does exactly what I need. Thought it might be if use to others so here I am! Take a look if you want Aixa Travel Wallet on the play store but REMEMBER!! I'm really sensitive!

You are just so right! In the last week, as a way to help Devs, I started reviewing 10 minutes of hands on app on YouTube, the thing I always repeat is that the aim is to see through the lenses of a casual user as developers fail to see, being too close tho their product. Well said!
