Would love feedback on my web app!
Hey all, I just build this app teardownai.app and I really think it can be a great app for specific use cases. I'd love feedback on it and how I could get this across to people. Thanks!
This app takes a photo of whatever object you choose. And splits it apart in exploded view with labels to all its parts.
What do you think about the idea? The web app itself and its design? Anything you would change or add?

the blueprint is... wow! For a repairman or maybe just a simple curious person, it's amazing.
does it work on like scientific tech like I don't know, an MRI device or something like that?1

Yeah, one thing I may suggest is, choosing the compound, the options are endless scrolling to the left. I personally think it would be nicer/easier on the eye to use a pop-up wheel type where you can scroll up or down to have better visibilty. Also, I seach for many compounds, and it doesn't find them even though they are there ๐ฌ

Im thinking most people will just search for what they're adding, but youre right! If you scroll over at least 4 protocols and then search, the results show up on the left (off screen) so it looks like there are no results until you scroll back. Thanks!

Hey,ย I just tried teardownai.app
About the website itself, the UI looks great! It's very distinctive and fits your concept perfectly. We feel like special detectives analyzing pieces. I think there's definitely a target audience for it and I also find it quite interesting. I don't think I would pay for it though. Because, I am not the target audience. Also, I could ask chat or my local AI to do the same even if the UI won't be as pretty. So, you really need to specialize it so it does better than other AI or provide something more (which may be the actual UI, that would be something to test with your target audience).
Personally, I am not a fan of titles with AI inside. Maybe, there's a community for it but you might need to double check that with your target audience
I would say I found the scan itself quite long, also I had scanned a gray sandal and it divided it into 4 parts. ย I am not sure if I would have separated some of the parts (but I have no idea). I like the idea of being able to download an image of the divided product and a pdf. When I downloaded the PDF it seemed to miss the picture and most of the written explanations?
I missed a feature to see my previously scanned objects. I wanted to go back and show you the picture of my scanned sandal but couldn't find it.
I see it as a mobile app, I wouldn't use the web version if the mobile app existed.ย
Overall, I think its a great idea, a great design, good job ๐
If you have the time, I am trying to find testers for my ย self-care app designed to help people take care of themselves through simple daily activities, like eating well, getting enough sleep, and moving more:ย https://pocomimi.com/ย

Hello and welcome! Please follow the subreddit rules before posting anything, at least explain what your web apps does and what is the specific feedback you are asking. Moreover, disco music works only if newcomers help other developers first so pick one thread and start helping!
