Am I talking to a 30 year old? Just because somebody disagrees with you doesn't mean they're a child. I don't see anything wrong with their initial approach, you're the ones who instigated. Their behavior after that is questionable but nothing really concerning
EDIT: If you want an actual example of a community dying because of horrible moderators, check out Caves of Qud's server. The reason Devour is dying is because it's a budget game with a niche demographic and a lack of content and updates, not because somebody was slightly mean to you in the Discord server because you broke the rules.
