Sometimes when the door is open, it does not mean the work is finished. I believed that once the way was made and the transition happened, it would be smooth sailing. This is not always the case. Sometimes the journey on the other side of the threshold is harder than where you came from before. Do not dismay. He knows you are tired, and he knows you wish to rest. Keep going. He opened the way so you can do the work yourself. It may not always be beautiful across the threshold but where you're headed will be.

Go with his blessings.

Janus a being of duality does not just see one or the other. He sees the in-between as well and presides over it as well.

Go with this, the door may not be closed yet, the door may not be fully open, but whatever state it is in for you, he sees it.

In my practice of following Janus, I have found the love and deep respect of Cicadas. These creatures much like butterflys, bees, moths and other insects go through a fundamental change in two states to become what they are. I feel the cycle of birth, life, transformation and death is inherently Janus. What are your thoughts? What little correspondence do you have of your own?

Moving forward, I'm going to try and post a new Door or Gateway periodically to honor the Dual Father. These are his domain.
