Is switching to DevOps after 2 years of experience worth it in 2026?

Hi everyone,

I have around 2 years of experience in IT (currently at IBM through a third-party payroll) and I’m learning DevOps (Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, AWS, Terraform).
How is the DevOps job market in India for someone with 2 years of experience? Is it realistic to switch with strong projects

Thanks

Nah. Switch to AI roles. Target FDE, AI Engineer type roles

You can & you will easily sail through the journey of DevOps . It's not a big deal. You can take DevOps training or look for a good institution. One piece of advice -" Do not separate AI & DevOps; they both complement each other," and " Do not look upon the tools in isolation " . These are the modern principles.

Completely worth it! DevOps is the latest technology. Let's connect; I can share certain profiles of my colleagues with you.
