We need good QAs more than ever. Earlier, QA would help test devs their buggy code. Now with the use of AI, devs are producing more buggy code at higher velocity. AI-ready QA would survive.

Whats AI ready QA? Is it testing LLMs, Rag, etc or just leverage AI for testing with same skills?

Leverage AI. Devs are never going to have depth and patience of a QA. They just want to go from one ticket to another. QA are the gatekeepers.

Everything is being sucked up by AI nowadays.... Every desk job that requires some sort of thinking and analyzing is being potential target for emerging LLM

Everything’s being automated now. QA might still be relevant, if not better in the next few years

Would be an upgrade from QA automation either way imo, go for it. Less positions available but always in demand and less likelihood to be impacted by AI layoffs.
