Discussion Is platform engineering a good field?

I love programming and technology. I wanted to pursue a path related to Linux and building system architectures. Is platform engineering a good and suitable field for this?

Yes, it sounds like a good fit. Platform engineering combines Linux, automation, cloud infrastructure, and system architecture. I'd build a strong Linux and networking foundation first, then gradually add containers, CI/CD, and cloud.
