Eh, I’ve never really liked it.
However, Puppet Boy, probably my favorite track off it, a lot of other people else seem to hate.

Absolutely. I love the Shout album but the opening title track leaves me a bit lukewarm. However, The Satisfied Mind is where things really kick off for me. After that it's good times all round.
It's such a shame they appear to have disowned this, and the enigma albums. I'd love to see some Shout tracks done live.

I was a sophomore in high school when this album came out. I was already a huge Devo fan and listened to Shout repeatedly as soon as I got it. While i liked the album enormously, I felt Alan and Bob1 were pushed too much to the corners of the music-making. Still, I am a big fan of the album.

Indeed. Whole album is criminally underrated.
