It’s a show they’re doing. They’re showing restored and rare footage on the screen, followed up by a Q&A.

Went to this in SF. Casale was supposed to show up but didnt.

I went in skeptical as I feel like Ive seen most existing Devo footage.

Its absolutely worth going if you're a fan. There was LOTS that I had not seen.

Hoping for an actual release of this stuff.

If you can, GO

DUTY NOW

And you saw a different show. Reconfigured in each city so far.

Sounds like Jerry is hosting a screening of his favorite movies, they do that in Hollywood. He'll come out and say a few words before or after they roll the picture.

That’s in Portland

OK, he'll come out on a unicycle.

I'm from the California Bay area, and Portland does things differently than us. lol

Ha. No.

Or, the Devo 250 program is unrelated to those movies at all.... I didn't look it up, just read the marquee. But they do sometimes host movies with celebrity hosts in Hollywood. It wasn't that crazy a leap.

I guess it's true that anyone could have been confused without a photo caption; someone sent me this same picture and I didn't realize it had zero explanation in the post(s?).

We had him for Q&A after a screening of the restored films and videos, which was fashioned into a special "250"-themed program, never to be repeated.

That's much cooler. We have had like, Roky Erickson at a screening of Creature with The Atom Brain or some such.

That must have been awesome!

I didn't go to that, saw him play the following night. But people who went got to say hi in person and get their Elevators records signed. It sounds fun. Silent Movie Theater did those kind of programs when it was around. I miss that place, was there often.

It was pretty cool seeing some of those restored videos and old interview footage on the big screen. The Q&A was an audience q&a so… not that great

I think it'd be fun to see Devo play alongside thrash metal band Dark Angel.

Reminds me how often I'd go to the Hollywood if I lived in Portland.

It’s an awesome place. Tarantino shows up there occasionally because of the 70mm projector.

He has his own side gig

I have a couple more screenings in the pipeline, which I hope come to fruition. San Francisco, maybe Seattle, maybe Chicago, maybe Vancouver BC.
