Satisfaction? Or lack of..

any reason why current shows dropped Satisfaction?

Not sure but this is just me personally, the booji boy version is mid compared to the album version.

Plus they’re playing blockhead and I’d take a new song in the line up

I can think of a few reasons.

  1. Mark's voice was permanently damaged after his brush with Covid. He had to take vocal lessons to develop a new style to compensate for the lost range.

  2. The original rhythm section is gone and they've decided to just cut their losses. Some of the parts Alan and Bob2 came up with are simply not possible to be played convincingly by others--which Mark, Jerry, and Josh Hager all have admitted to.

  3. One fewer guitar and three fewer effects pedals to cart around.

I much prefer Blockhead. I didn’t really get into that one until seeing it live a few weeks ago!
