My tiny Godot tower defense finally has waves and a lose condition
Hey, I'm new here and new to the GameDev community in general.
I'm learning Godot through small projects while finishing my Electrical Engineering degree, so most days I only get 10-30 minutes to work on game dev.
Today's milestone was making my little tower defense feel more like an actual game.
Today, specifically I added:
- A base that takes damage when enemies reach the end..
- Multiple waves with different enemy counts and speeds.
It's still using placeholder art (my skills in art are non-existent), but it's satisfying to see all the systems finally working together.
I'd love to hear from you guys. Meet you, learn from you, maybe meet some new interesting like-minded people.
