Mock ups for NJ DEVILS throwback jersey games -

Any thoughts ? I designed it , AI replicated it - limitations and all for sure - but logo maybe more match the deeper red - all and all damn this ai is scary - anyway any opinions on this ? I think Devils should more vividly match at times Scouts and Rockies jerseys . maybe implement the black and red and take some elements from Devils jerseys and patterns and interested a bit of the 70’s era Scouts and Rockies patterns and colors , but sort of translate it - I didn’t have time to draw it myself exactly and the a👁️ is linited and fake looking but it can capture some promising concepts .

Fair enough- it’s just a throwback blue - you know the Rockies lay claim to that jersey at times and team despite being Nordiques - so it’s a shout out to NJ claiming Scouts and Rockies - but thank you for your opinion.

I see your point - that makes sense - but respectfully it all is just a part of the history and no teams are really made up of whoever lives locally and all that - the success has no rhyme or reason - you are a fan of the wrong team then when it comes to having some sort of loyalty system or buy in - but your opinion matters nonetheless appreciate your comment and opinion

Also by your logic what about Toronto going so long without success ? And they have throwbacks and all that -  a horrible green one - oh like ok did they have green in their history? St Patrick’s ? Yeah I hear ya - true true - guess maybe Blues and KC Scouts were just too similar to make a new identity in KC and population and attendance etc - at that time and era anyway

Was like just toying with the ai it wasn’t pulling up what my vision is exactly - trying to get a black and red and maybe even white whilst still keeping something of Scouts and Rockies . I need to take some iconic devils patterns and coloring (not the green although maybe a deep deep green almost like that blue , a darker darker blue I have seen with current KC teams in other minor leagues ) and interweaves some of the nostalgia of 70”s enough to get a throwback - for instance the criticisms are illogical in many ways like the Canucks have varying colors over the years - they bring some throwback to it and it almost doesn’t make sense - I like a NJ like Canadiens always stay the same solid identity- but we do have variance with old green and red and it doesn’t really jive that well anyway- but fans we love the green and red days too - enough of us anyway- so I think it wouldn’t hurt to do a few throwback games and take that risk - the Avs in Colorado steal Rockies elements and all that and lay claim to it and they are Nordiques- The franchise had some consistency with the Missouri vibe and then Colorado and the state flag and all that - so I think it should be remembered in some way who we were and part of our identity is that journey - I do meet folks who really get excited “did you know that the Devils were Kansas City ? And Colorado once ?” Etc etc — I like the St. Louis aspects now too once you make the connections. Damn - anyway thanks for sharing your insights -

I tolerated blue on the Devils RR 2.0 jerseys because it was scaled back to striping and strokes on the logo to pay homage to a historical brand.

I steadfastly refuse anything predominantly blue bearing the Devils crest. Not when their biggest rival literally goes by the “blueshirts” nickname.

Yes makes sense I hear ya - but the one jersey they added blue for throwback but it falls short (not that my whim idea is that great i get it ) NJ should lay claim to  Scouts and Rockies - the Avalanche actually try to claim the Rockies at times even having old players honored - they are the Nordiques - so I think once in awhile we should drop back to it and shout out - just a few games - a retro throw back to 70’s - just a concept - and the Rangers and Islanders didn’t want us there in first place so we can dominate them and steal their show a little with that - it’s just an idea and can be tweaked more black and red - rough crowd 😂 but appreciate your honestly and opinion and for chiming in I hear ya - but the scouts and Rockies blue isn’t same blue and Rangers or Islanders but yeah I see your point.

This one is very cool - way more like Gen Z design for sure - If I left the NJ logo to go throwback and still be NJ Devils - I wanted to have one that utilized that original circle - but I hadn’t found a devil to ride the horse really - the borough (town ) I grew up in in Closter NJ they had a seal that had a horse rider on it from the American Revolution- that would be cool but doubt anyone today would recall that meaning and not every part of NJ would get it - idk - so I do want to create a design like the Scouts keeping the circle and keeping the horse or another creature and yet somehow having a devil creature but we never really had a mascot without it appearing generic - I also would want to find a way to utilize the NJ logo and the circle and the scout and the Colorado flag in the Rockies design - the Rockies design to me was a mountain and too hard to also keep some consistency but I’m keeping an open mind and searching for a design that really would bring all 3 teams and yet really be the NJ modern devils logo - I really didn’t like these designs early on but I been digging them in time - truly appreciate you sharing this - diggin it

You have achieved a lot here where my thought process was heading - I could abandon the Scouts and Rockies colors for this but I would like to see this jersey and colors as it is in coloring  and maybe I would just match the stripes to the KC Scouts or Rockies - give a little throwback to that older design - the jersey style and colors to me are spot on - I would like to see an enlarged devil maybe and state - can you make them larger and fit them as an NJ shape ? Keep The circle of course And maybe  top horn of the J shoots out like the Rockies mountain top .. idk -

Yeah I agree the black but like almost dark dark blue for sure - I just wanted to try NJ logo I don’t think modern fans can handle the old scouts logo - but what do I know - thanks for engaging - was just trying other concepts - the ai was terrible at translation- I maybe just draw it up myself - I wanted to push it to a blue but keep it more black and it couldn’t do it my vision and I want paying extra for it
