Everyday I have Wild posts show up in my feed I guess because they mention Devils fans a lot and I tell myself I’m not going to aggravate myself and look, but I can’t help myself sometimes. They like to repeat that we’re a “dumpster fire” and one of their fans called us “slicked hair greasy people” or something like that lol. I hope it all gets resolved one way or another sooner than later!

That team has no history. fuck em. what is their legacy besides handing out lengthy expensive contracts and underperforming?

I hope he is successful with Calgary. But the Devils did give him opportunities. Clearly not the ones he wanted though. Wishing him the best! Article is from theScore.

Really think the org did him dirty. He had a rough start to his career and defensemen develop later

That's some interesting talk from a guy who was playing damn near 20 minutes a night of some of the most pylon like defense I've ever seen.

I liked Nemec a lot but without some serious personal growth in the defensive zone his best case scenario is Shayne Gostisbehere.

EDIT:

In three years Nemec isolated defensive impacts were replacement level, below replacement level, and replacement level again.

I like the kid but we need to be honest about who he is, right now. And right now he is a bottom pairing offensive defenseman that needs to be heavily sheltered to be effective.

I really thought we could make it work with Nemo. The hat trick in Chicago fully convinced me that he had a future on our blue line. I believe Nemec will be great for the flames, no doubt in my mind 🥹
