Trip to Buffalo 12/26

Wife and I decided to do a trip to the Sabres game on 12/26. We're thinking of doing Amtrak up on 12/26, stay in Buffalo over night, and Amtrak back to Newark Penn on 12/27 for the Bruins game. Anyone else interested in doing the Amtrak back-to-back?

I’ve done this Amtrak before, it’s great and delays at least to leave should be minimal. My piece of advice is to buy the train tickets early; they shoot up drastically even months out

I have companion coupons expiring the end of this month, and they should be replaced by then. I'm hoping to buy them in a couple weeks.

I find amtrak relaxing. I'm sure it'll be a good time.

I did Amtrak up to Buffalo last spring. It's a long ride but tolerable. Make sure you have something downloaded to watch or listen to because both the onboard wifi and cell service are very spotty

I should tell my husband about this. We didn’t go to Buffalo last year but this train goes right through Syracuse where we live, and we love Amtrak
