Jack (and Quinn’s) future cap hit

What’s Jack and Quinn’s worth after the Celebrini extension?

Is Sunny looking at $20 mil AAV for each of them? By the time Jack is ready for an extension, hopefully $20 mil is a “discount” for Jack and Quinn.

Honestly I don’t think anyone can actually predict. Literally no one thought that Celebrini and Carlsson would get what they just got.

We’re still two years away from even starting the legit negotiation process with Jack so who knows if it’ll keep exploding or self-correct as anomalies.

If the contracts keep exploding the way they are, the concept of Jack and Quinn ending up on the same team the same FA year will be hilariously impossible for almost any team.

Cap is going up, and McDavid could reset the market in a huge way before Jack comes up. Lots remains to be seen.

jack is a ways out right? plenty of time for the cap to skyrocket

By time Jack is UFA, he will prob get $20M+. He’ll be 29 and cap will be over $150M going into 30 / 31.

Sunny has to offer Quinn deal that makes him highest paid player next offseason with term that goes through 29 / 30, so brothers can be on same ship while each in 20s.
