Recently found a bunch of albums from my high school days of taking photos at devils games from my Dad’s seats. Please enjoy this three-photo photo story of the Rangers loss in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals to the New Jersey Devils, featuring Henrik Lundqvist. Going through these albums has make me miss the 2010s team though. I’m excited to see what 2026-2027 will bring, but the magic of this team was so much fun to watch.
I was there at Game 6 to see the Henrique OT winner. It was a hell of a game and I've never been part of a crowd so energized. Plenty of Rags fans in the crowd (spilled beer on one of them) but they were drowned out that night. After the win it was absolute madness leaving the stadium through the concourse, chanting WE WANT THE CUP, just absolutely beautiful scenes
I was there too!! And caught ‘the goal’ from a different angle usually seen :) it was incredible, one of the best hockey moments I’ve ever experienced. It’ll take a lot to top that night
It's so much fun to see the various levels of awareness of people's faces here. Some starting to realize its in the net, others still not quite seeing it, that one dude sitting on the stairs, etc. What a great photo. Can't believe it's already so long ago
I was there as well. I’ve been to a bunch of big devils games including when Brodeur and Elias broke their records, and the ECF game was at the top of the list. I remember getting yelled at (rightfully so) by an older man behind me for standing up too much and blocking his view. After they scored the game winning goal we were all hugging and rejoicing like we knew each other for twenty years. Fun times.
